429 BIG BLOCK V8, AUTO TRANS, POWER STEER/FRONT DISC, CONVERTIBLE, NICE CRUISER!

It's time to think about all the different boulevards you know. After all, this 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado convertible is that perfect big V8 cruising drop-top you've always wanted to show off. It has big V8 power, a luxurious A/C interior, and a full green presentation to make them all envious.

The Fleetwood Eldorado was the top-tier drop-top, and thus, it was expensive. People could buy two Impala convertibles and still have plenty of gas money left over. So we particularly appreciate it when we find one that presents this nicely. The factory-correct Crystal Firemist paint was given a quality respray so that this drop-top has an elegant glow in the sunshine. And speaking of elegance, it may take you a while to appreciate just how nice all the clean lines are on this car. The super-straight sheet metal lets you see the crisp creases in the hood and the design lines that run the full length of this road-owning convertible. There have been thoughtful additions to this car. For example, the dark green roof is an upgrade with the kind of complementary color to really bring out the touch of green tone in the paint. So it looks distinctly stylish with the roof in place. Plus, ... Please ask for the full description.

Plus, the brightwork is complete and shining. This includes the front bumper that contours with all the great curves, the rear one that's form-fitting to help create the hint of tailfin, and even the factory-style wire wheels are still in place. It all makes for a sophisticated and solid-looking vehicle.

While we love the way this one looks with the top in place, when you take it down, you reveal the full Dark Jade interior. So you get a unique but harmonized color theme with the roof up or down. This is a car that's made to be enjoyed, and so it has an attractive cruiser style. In fact, the rare front bucket seats really show how this is a premium driver's classic.
The way these supple leather armchairs power adjust feels road-trip ready. Even the details impress, like the wood trim, working clock, and color-matched convertible boot. It's loaded like a proper Caddy with power windows, a power top, a tilt steering column, and practically acres of legroom. This all has a time capsule kind of style but there are well-integrated upgrades like the retro-style AM/FM stereo and factory air conditioning upgraded to modern R134a refrigerant.

A big 429 cubic-inch engine with a four-barrel carburetor on top is a great 1960s Cadillac motor. And they have taken care of it correctly with newer elements including the brake booster, battery terminals, water pump, and large aluminum radiator. The big torque of the V8 moves all this sheet metal with ease, especially when paired with the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. This strong nature and proper care happened because this car was part of a well-kept collection. We're not talking about being part of a fleet of garage queens. Instead, the idea was to make sure it was reliable enough to take real 500-600 mile road trips. What that means is you have one of the few true classics that still feels like a solid cruiser. And power steering, power brakes, and newly upgraded front discs are all that help keep this an easy-riding Caddy.

When a car is treated with this level of care, the reputation for premium elegance grows even more. So if you're looking to drive a classic American with timeless style, call today!
