This is a 1927 Ford Model T with a genuine Henry Ford steel body, but all it takes is one glance to know it has been given the full hot rod treatment. So you'll love the sporty stance V8 power, four-wheel disc brakes, and overall attitude of this very cool and very classic coupe.
We love how this plays with its legend. After all, we often think of Model Ts only in black. So this one gets close to the midnight colors with a deep silver and a dark gray...but the paint never goes black. This is genuine Henry Ford steel, and this hot rod respects that history with classic elements like the vinyl roof, windshield sunshade, and the overall upright appearance that reminds you that beneath all of the hot rod investments is still the car that put America on wheels. But the alloy wheels on aggressively staggered tires remind us of the hot rod era that made these Fords icons all over again. Overall, we can't help but feel like this is something extra special here. 1927 was the final year for the Model T. It was time for Ford to change and advance, and so to have an example that has evolved into a true hot rod just seems kismet.

Description
Inside is the same idea of hot rod style upgrades while still respecting its history. That's why you have a bench seat, but it's now done in comfy tweed cloth. There's a cool wood and chrome steering wheel, a B&M floor shifter, and upgraded gauges. There's even a radio in the headliner. But the overall upright style and classic pop-out windshield make sure you never forget you're driving a Model T.
Because this is such a vintage Ford, we're especially excited to see that the power upgrade keeps it in the blue oval family. This is a sharp-looking 302 cubic-inch V8 that has been built with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are even good supporting components like Ford Motorsport valve covers and an electric fan. The suspension progresses this Model T into the hot rod era. And there are even nice cruising features like the three-speed automatic and four-wheel disc brakes.
This already has a great street-ready style, but you may feel like doing some of your own upgrading and tuning to this Model T. After all, making it personal is really what owning a custom hot rod is all about. But we all love the fundamental idea of such a significant coupe having this much distinction.
