So, Cadillac still reigned supreme with this big motor that carried a quarter larger displacement than anything available at Chevrolet. But, where Chevy was beginning the business of hot rodding, this Cadillac's cubic inches and single four-barrel carb were utilized to make sure comfort was achieved at every speed. We're told this motor was rebuilt during the restoration, and its strong but smooth nature reinforces that feeling. And so it continues to be a true cruiser thanks to good features like the Hydramatic automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
