SLICK C-10 STEPSIDE, 350CI, DOUBLE HUMP HEADS, RUNS GREAT, VERY CLEAN PICKUP

Great stance, healthy engine, pickup utility, and a very reasonable price, this 1968 Chevrolet C10 seems to have everything going for it. Nothing radical, just a nicely finished old truck with a few custom touches for the guys who like that sort of thing.

Quite remarkably, the light green paint is this truck's original color, save for the black stripe running down the center of the hood. Speaking of the hood, it's a cowl-induction piece that gives the stepside pickup a bit of an attitude, a sporty look that suits it just fine. Fit and finish are decent and while it's not a concourse show truck, it does look like it's led a good life and someone spent plenty of effort whipping it into shape. You can't argue with the good looks of the factory design, so they left all the little stuff alone, and merely focused on getting it straight and giving it a great shine once the paint was dry. It's been driven and the restoration is older, but if you like the look, then you'll be happy with the overall condition which gives it a comfortable, favorite-pair-of-blue-jeans kind of vibe. There's a natural oak bed in back that shows some signs of age, but the great thing about wood is that you just sand it ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

There's a natural oak bed in back that shows some signs of age, but the great thing about wood is that you just sand it and refinish it and it looks like new, a project you can do at home in an afternoon for not a lot of cash. The only other modification are the LED lights out back and the clear lenses on the sides, both of which work well on this slightly customized truck.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by the interior, which uses fresh black seat covers with color-matched embroidery to make it feel sleek and sophisticated inside. Matching door panels with a slash of light green just for style and a green instrument panel give the truck an all-of-a-piece feel. The handsome factory instruments are framed by a Grant GT steering wheel wrapped in black leather and there's a newer AM/FM radio in the center stack, just above the heater controls and auxiliary gauges. Sticking to the basics works rather well in this no-nonsense pickup truck, because it's the quality execution that seems to get everyone's attention. Tinted glass all around helps with the sporting image as well as working to keep the interior nice and cool during the summer driving season.

When you open that cowl induction hood, you can see where a lot of the money went in this build. It's a built 350 cubic inch V8 that's been shined up and dressed in show-quality chrome, but it has the hardware to be a serious threat on the street, too. Corvette double hump heads, an Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley carburetor all combine to give this thing serious horsepower. Chevy Orange paint practically glows in the otherwise all-black engine bay and there's a lot of new equipment, including the serpentine belt system and all the accessories. Long-tube headers and race-spec Flowmasters with turn-downs give it a fantastic voice and the TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is up for punishment. The suspension has been lowered just enough to give it the right rake, but the hardware is still there to allow it to actually work as a pickup truck. 16-inch billet wheels are fitted with 225/70/16 front and 255/65/16 rear Goodyear radials to enhance the stance.

Like I said, good looks, a gnarly powerplant, and a few tasteful upgrades make for one heck of an attractive truck, especially at this price. Call today!
