This Silverado has a distinct two-tone. After all, red and black are the most aggressive colors around, and so it works well on a lifted 4x4 like this. There was the right level of restoration and/or preservation so that you have nice upholstery, a taut headliner, a clean dash, and plush carpeting. It also feels upper-class because of all the features you get. There are power windows, sliding rear glass, power locks, cruise control, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. This is even a factory air conditioning truck (it will need components and servicing to blow cold again.) This is from the years where Chevy had a smart seat setup that gave you a full bench, but there was also a fold-down driver's armrest for individual comfort. And the tilt steering column gives you a clear view to the gauges. So it's easy to get long-haul comfortable.

The engine bay has a clean look of a solid investment. In fact, while we are under the impression the odometer represents the full actual mileage, the motor was rebuilt less than 6k miles ago. The fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 was even bored .40 over. The front end was also redone about the same time, and the front suspension is another big part of this truck's appeal. This was the first generation of Silverados to give you a 4x4 that also had an independent front suspension. That means you still get the go-anywhere prowess, but when you're just riding in the city, this is much more comfortable than other classic 4x4s. There's also power steering, power brakes, front discs, a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive to make this a great pickup for travels near or far.
