After all, there's just something instantly alluring about a 1966 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback that has the unmistakable shine that comes from a serious investment. The deep purple paint looks absolutely awesome. It's one of those quality applications where the deep shine just loves to show off the crisp lines of the sheet metal. Not only is it a larger motor than what they offered in '66, but this has been enhanced further with go-fast goodies like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Hooker headers that feed the rumbling X-pipe dual exhaust. It also has the right supporting components, like an aluminum radiator, electric fan, steel braided line w/AN fittings, a Mallory Unilite distributor, and an Optima red top battery relocated to the trunk for better weight distribution. Best of all, the upgraded T5 five-speed manual transmission gives you full control over the enhanced V8 and its thunderous soundtrack. In fact, this custom Mustang is all about letting you feel control and the road. That's why you have a thick sway bar up front, subframe connectors, traction bars, and front disc brakes.
