SLICK MODEL A SEDAN CONVERTIBLE, 200 CI INLINE 4, 3-SPEED MANUAL, NICE RESTORE!!

This 1931 Ford A400 gives you a lot to get excited about. It's the final year for the Model A, and the only time it was ever offered with this special convertible body. And between the exceptional rarity and the show-ready condition of this restored example, it will be hard to find a better way to experience vintage motoring.

The A400 is a sought-after body style for the Ford Model A. It was said that Henry Ford wanted a premium open-top car that had the sounder structure of a sedan. They started with the Victoria body and gave it a full roll-back roof. Not only did they achieve their better structure, but today we'd also compare the full roll-top design to some stylish Europeans. The A400 was only in production for 1931 and 1932 less than 5,000 were made in 1931 for the USA. So you have a vintage car with rarity and beauty, which is why this example was given an award-winning restoration only about 135 miles ago. So there's a lot going on with this A400 besides just the attention-grabbing top. The paint is a beautifully distinct Washington Blue and Riviera Blue two-tone on the body. And with the black fenders, the profile looks like a cross-section of the deepest parts of the ... Please ask for the full description.

And with the black fenders, the profile looks like a cross-section of the deepest parts of the ocean. And the full package is even glossy enough to look wet. You'll love all the details, like the bright chrome double-bumpers, rubber-covered running boards, and a folding luggage rack on the rear. Then there's the Tacoma Cream pinstriping. It outlines some of the best creases in the Henry Ford steel, and it coordinates with the wire wheels - including the spears in both the fenders. These are all very natural colors, and so the neutral beige canvas roof looks distinct while still quite harmonizing. And it's all this deal that makes this one desirable for more than just its rarity.

You know you're going to spend plenty of time with the roof rolled back, and so they made sure the interior was ready to be displayed. The well-presented brown on the seats, door panels, and carpeting continue the natural feeling, and there's even a wood-like trim to the windows and dash. Not only do you have the roll-back roof, but also a pop-out windshield and all the roll-down windows, so there are the right ventilation options for cruising on a sunny Sunday afternoon. And it's all highly detailed everywhere from the matching convertible boot and roses etched into the wind wings.

When you get under the hood, Ford's 200 cubic-inch engine looks amazingly correct and authentic. You can see a highly faithful style right down to the gravity-fed carburetor and the fuel shut-off valve that was exclusive to late 1931 cars. More than just authenticity, you'll love the way this classic four-cylinder runs strong to reaffirm the feeling of a quality investment. These Model As were made for transportation for the masses. So while they are a far rarer sight 90+ years later, it still never loses the surprisingly easy driving nature that everyone could enjoy.

The sale comes complete with a period-correct tool kit. We're told this is what you need to be a contender for top honors, and this A400 even comes with two awards to prove it! So if you want a classic that has an exotic-level rarity and an all-American appeal, you need this excellent A400 in your life. Call today!!!
