This 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air has such a cool/vintage attitude inside and out. But that's not what makes this one so attractive. You can see just little hints that this is a sleeper with one of the best powerhouses around under the hood. So it's a bit incognito and a bit pure vintage fun... and that's why the full package is irresistible.
You already know why the 1961 Bel Air two-door pillared sedan is such a cool ride. Some nice touches did not make it onto any other year, and so they are sought after by collectors today. It's in design details like the wraparound rear window with a body overhang that now looks like a spoiler. And the dipping “V” in the trunk is something so daring that this style is unique to the 1961 car. It's a true classic, and so it makes us excited to see what is believed to be the factory-applied paint. The Twilight Turquoise and Seamist Turquoise roof just seem to represent the bright and coordinated style that made cars awesome in the 1960s. And they even put a clearcoat on top to seal it all in. So the way this has a touch of history but has an amazing shine makes for an impressive Bel Air.
The sea of turquoise continues inside. The bench seats, ... Please ask for the full description.

So the way this has a touch of history but has an amazing shine makes for an impressive Bel Air.
The sea of turquoise continues inside. The bench seats, working dome light, multi-tone loop carpeting, and thin steering wheel are all about keeping a very classic style. In fact, the first upgrade you may notice are the comfy velour inserts in the upholstery. But as you slip behind the wheel, the prominently Sun Super Tach and Hurst floor shifter let you know this Bel Air is extra special.
Under the hood is a cool powerhouse. The big block kings of 1961 were the 348 cubic-inch cars, but this one goes in a different direction. This has a later 400 cubic-inch small block. So you get a lighter V8 setup but with a displacement that rivals the later 409s. This one really is a big block contender with performance upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a Holley intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust and Thrush mufflers. Plus, you have the right modern supporting components, like the MSD ignition and aluminum radiator. Best of all, you have full control over this V8 and its soundtrack with the four-speed manual transmission. It's a very powerful street machine, but it's also easy to enjoy thanks to features like power steering, power brakes, and drilled & slotted front discs.
This is a big power Bel Air that also has a true classic style. It makes for an awesome incognito street machine that you know you just can't resist. Call today!!!
