This is the debut year for the Galaxie name. It started as the Fairlane's top trim, and so it is a great classic that deserves respect and care. The second owner gave it a frame-off restoration in 2011, and we're told it has only been driven about 750 miles since then. It also has good supporting components, like a full MSD ignition system, an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and the battery relocated to the trunk for better weight distribution. The upgraded power is utilized to the fullest thanks to the addition of a five-speed manual transmission, and it feeds Richmond 4.11 gears with Moser axles. So you get strong and quick takeoffs. And upgrades like rear traction bars and four-wheel disc brakes make it easy to keep the big power under your firm control.
