SUPER CLEAN 4 OWNER W/ ONLY 16K ACTUAL MILES! 351 V8, AUTO, 70'S CREAM PUFF!

There was no better way to make the personal luxury statement in 1979 than with the Ford Thunderbird Town Landau edition. Today this is celebrated with a coupe that survives in every major way with factory paint, low mileage, and the numbers-matching 351ci V8. It's even nicely documented, including the original window sticker.

You're looking at the factory-applied Dark Cordovan paint, and it looks impressive today after spending over four decades on this earth. And the clean gloss really shows off how well the sheet metal still holds its angular creases. The whole package is impressive because the car only has gone about 16k miles total, and so it has been babied like a premium luxury classic should. The story we're told is that the first two owners were two generations of the same family. The third owner picked it up at an estate sale and promptly sold it to the fourth owner who kept it like a member of the family. That's why the metallic element of the factory paint still pops so nicely, and there's good documentation - including state inspections to back up the actual mileage odometer. The Town Landau was the range-topper for the T-bird, and so there were plenty of details that ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

The Town Landau was the range-topper for the T-bird, and so there were plenty of details that make it distinct. It starts with the vinyl padded roof that gives this special coupe its name. It's a sophisticated style with the roof matching in cordovan with a bold white hoop bisecting the top. There are plenty of beautiful details, like the hidden headlights, the distinct quarter windows, and color-matched rub strip that all give this T-bird the kind of style that was the hallmark of this generation. It's so well-planned that the golden pinstripe coordinates with the Landau's special turbine-style wheels.

Just like the outside, the inside of this T-bird is excellently preserved, and it's also done in a deep maroon. The seats, carpets, door panels, and headliner are all in the rich wine-like color. It makes for a nicely coordinated package that you can't even find on many new luxury cars. You can carry up to five family and friends with you or fold down the dual front armrests for individual comfort. And comfort is key in a vintage car like this. You have factory features like power windows, power locks, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) It's such a time capsule that the courtesy lights still greet you and the AM/FM 8-track stereo is still cranking out tunes. This has the space and features to be a great classic to share with family and friends, but the best treats are reserved just for you. The driver's seat is power-adjustable, and the factory steering wheel is on a tilt column to give you a commanding view of the sporty round gauge panel.

With a car that's been so original so far, you'll be quite happy to see the numbers-matching 351 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. This is truly survivor grade as the low-mileage motor still looks factory-fresh. And when it looks this good so many decades later, then you know it has received proper service during its life thus far. But just because this is a time capsule doesn't mean you should hesitate to add miles to the odometer. After all, with features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and a supple ride, this T-bird is a terrific any-time cruiser.

Because people want to know more about a survivor like this, it comes complete with great paperwork like the original window sticker, the original warranty card, owner's manual, factory brochures, past state inspection info, and more. It's amazing you can get this kind of stand-out survivor cruiser for such an affordable price. That's why we know it will be gone quickly. Call today!!!
