And don't worry, it's got all the good stuff inside, ranging from a rumbling 350 V8 to a fully finished leather interior that's ready to cruise. The only thing that matters is whether you're tired of sitting on the sidelines or if you're ready to get in the game with a bang.

The glass body is straight as can be with only 9,162 on the build, and if you've been looking at roadsters, you know this one is first-rate quality just by how the light bounces off the finish. Built a few years back and still looking good today, this eyeball-burning yellow rod is pretty much the way you'd do it yourself, isn't it? The paint is two-stage urethane, bright yellow with hot orange flames to be exact, and it's so bright that I'm sure some radioactive isotope was part of the mix. It was applied over the chiseled body which also features a stock-style, steel 3-piece hinged hood and a radiator shell painted to match, so it has that smooth look that all the top builders shoot for. Add in a chopped and raked windshield with attached chrome side mirrors, those big King Bee-style headlights on the shock mounts, a chrome spreader bar up front, and some killer original pinstripe work on the trunk to further off-set all the yellow, and you have a rod that will be welcome anywhere you take it. Sure, it's no longer a magazine winner with immaculate paint and zero imperfections, but the few signs of use you might find add character and mean you'll never hesitate to take this '32 out for a spin.

The neatly stitched black upholstery with bright yellow piping inside the cabin means that this car needs no additional funding to be all-day comfortable. Pleated inserts and simple patterns on the low-back buckets duplicate the vintage look of hi-boys of yore, and the interior is remarkably consistent with matching door panels, plush black carpets, and a leather-wrapped Grant GT steering wheel on a chrome tilt column that's a slick 4-spoke spin on the traditional Track-T look. The bright yellow dash houses a full set of white-faced Dolphin instruments, but all the working parts are cleverly stashed away. The cabin is all beautifully finished, with every square inch of space attended to by the upholstery man to give this '32 a very finished look. A Pioneer head unit manages the kickin' stereo that's set-up in the trunk, and if you look closer you'll see that the amplifier and subwoofer in the trunk are JL Audio units – the best of the best. And in case you get trapped out in the elements there's an easily removable black canvas top that snaps on the body in seconds.

Reliability and performance? This car has both in spades. The 350 cubic inch V8 is a great choice for any rod that's meant to be driven, and when augmented with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb, aluminum intake, block-hugging headers and a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, it's extremely entertaining on the road. The block, frame, suspension, and just about everything else under the car has been dipped in the same bright yellow paint as the body, giving it a highly detailed look, and there's plenty of bright chrome and polished pieces both under the hood and the undercarriage. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic driving a 9-inch rear end, and with traditional hotrod suspension components including a 4-bar set-up front, 4-link in the back, and coilovers in the rear mean that it has the right look and rides right. The steering is tight and the lightweight body makes a huge difference on the road, and front disc brakes are plenty powerful for this red-hot '32. Staggered American Racing Torque Thrust polished wheels complete the vintage ensemble and sport skinny 195/65/15 BFGoodrich radials up front, and matching 275/65/16 BFGoodrich radials in the rear.
