Under the hood is the LT1 fuel-injected V8 that this special edition has always had from day one. In fact, the entire engine bay looks like a fresh time capsule. You might have spotted the additions that SLP has done under the hood. Getting colder air into the engine bay meant the power went from 275 to 300 hp total. GM's 700R4 four-speed automatic was built stout enough to crisply change gears during performance driving, and it also knows how to ease into overdrive comfort for the commutes. Plus, features like power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and thick sway bars front & rear make for an impressive total package.
