Description
It's hard not to love this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette right from the first impression. The vibrant upgrade to Monaco Orange is a rarely-seen but true Corvette color. It was much better known as Hugger Orange for the muscle cars, but the Corvette guys just called it a sportier name to make it feel extra distinct. And speaking of special, this seems to have the best details of the era with a long cowl hood, wide chin spoiler, and even a luggage rack on the back. The distinction continues inside where the full blackout package looks great against the bright orange exterior (a great reason to leave the T-tops out.) And you have all the features you really want - everything from a tilt column to cold-blowing A/C. As you peek under the hood, you can also see a well-built big block that signals there has been a solid investment over every inch of this car. So dig into the details for the full story on why this one is so special.

This is coming off of nearly two decades of long-term ownership, and we're even told that about 10 years were spent on the restoration. That kind of build time not only tells you why this still has such low mileage, but also that this car has been carefully crafted. That's why they chose the right aggressive color, gave the right upgrades inside, and really took the time to increase the power of the big block. But also don't forget, the reason you want a Corvette is because of how they are a solid all-around driving package. So as you look underneath this one, you can spot fresh suspension components, Bilstein shocks, and the correct four-wheel disc brakes. So you absolutely know that this big-power big-block Stingray also knows how to enjoy the twisty backroads. And when power and poise come together so nicely, the full deal is irresistible.
