GREAT BUILD! 383 STROKER V8, TREMEC 5 SPD, A/C, WILWOOD BRKS, NEW INTERIOR, WOW!

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is one of those awesome vintage cars that takes all that's great about the Camaro and adds a few custom touches to enhance the storied tradition of big performance inside an F-body. Painstakingly restored by skilled hands, this beauty packs a rompin' stompin' 383 V8 motor that was built for battle and features a fantastic black-on-black color combination. If showing up in an awesome piece of Chevy muscle that drops jaws in its wake is your idea of fun, then this vintage restomod should be your next car.

This sucker could probably compete for trophies at top levels, but to be honest, it's way too good of a performance driver just for that. The sinister black paint is probably better than anything the factory could have managed, and as always, it looks fantastic on the F-body shape. They worked hard to get it into shape, nailing the gaps and prepping the steel to make it look right once everything was said and done, and the depth of the reflections in the body's surface is proof enough. Sure, it's not perfect, there are some imperfections that can be seen upon closer examination, but that's not the point of this car. You don't pack a vintage Camaro full off ...

You don't pack a vintage Camaro full off top-dollar performance parts just for eye-candy, they're in place so you can go out and have the time of your life with the throttle down. Correct white SS stripes were painted on with precision, and they provide great contrast to the otherwise blacked-out F-body, so this car is sure to stand out in a crowd. It also has correct RS equipment like the popular hidden headlights up front and separate back-up lights out back, plus the usual ducktail spoiler on the trunk. You'll also find a chin spoiler up front, which works with the overall tough-guy theme on the car, and it's nice that they decided to install a cowl hood but stayed away from the aggressively obnoxious units that make it almost impossible to see out of the front windshield. Chrome bumpers look great against the black paint, as does the rest of the brightwork and stainless on this Camaro, and they're in great shape just like the rest of the car.

Black really is the only interior color that you'd choose on a Camaro like this, and the combination of old and new inside does a great job to continue the performance theme of this '67. A sporty set of leather ProCar buckets were swapped-in up front to give the driver better bolstered support (and with the extra pop up front, it's very welcomed) while the rest of the interior is pretty stock with a few thoughtful changes that enhance the driving experience. The black carpets are correct and fit snug atop sound deadening insulation, the factory-style door panels are in excellent shape, and there's a center console with a custom tall shifter in the middle that manages the Tremec TKO 5-speed manual below. Factory gauges were swapped-out for Auto Meter units ahead of the driver, and a pair of auxiliary units were added below the dash, and the blacked-out Grant GT steering wheel is mounted atop an Ididit tilt column that gives the driver a lot more room in the cockpit. A new retro-style AM/FM radio slots neatly into the original spot and yes, this sucker is air conditioned (what, you thought all that extra power under the hood was going to go to waste?) via a full Vintage Air unit that blows ice cold. The trunk is now filled with a Jazz 32-gallon fuel cell and a relocated Odyssey battery, but there's still plenty of room left over for all the pink slips you'll be collecting.

The burly 383 Stroker V8 under the hood brings big firepower and with mountainous torque production, it'll pretty much shred the tires at will. The built small block is 91-93 octane tuned and augmented with a sizable Comp Cam, solid roller lifters and rockers, an Eagle crank, Mahle pistons, and a set of Brodix aluminum heads that all work together to practically lift this light F-body off the ground. It's topped with a QuickFuel carb, polished Edelbrock intake, and MSD system that ready the motor for battle in a flash, and it's presented with polished valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and a big aluminum radiator that shine bright against the black inner fenders and flushed firewall. There's a March serpentine belt drive system for the accessories and wrapped ceramic-coated headers that are tight to the block, the two most obvious signs that this Camaro isn't like the others. The engine starts with a wonderful big block bark from the Flowmaster X-pipe dual exhaust system and pulls like a freight train, as you'd expect. The chassis is super clean and includes Global West tubular control arms, sub-frame connectors, QA1 billet adjustable shocks at each corner, and a 12-bolt Mark Williams Auburn Locker rear end that hangs on a Martz 4-link out back, because, obviously, you're going to need some serious hardware to manage all that power. The Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission, power steering, and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes ensure a great ride every time out. The ride height is aggressive but not overly slammed, so it looks right sitting on Fikse wheels with staggered 235/45/17 Michelin front and 275/40/17 rear Mickey Thompson tires.

There are inferior Camaros out there for more money, but this one skillfully blends big performance, correct details, and an outstanding look to make one heck of an early F-body. They really don't get much better than this. Call today!
