After all, the high compression 394 V8 under the hood, a nice bucket seat interior, and a value price make it all-around irresistible. And as you check out all the details, you can see a total package that was made to be a real cruiser.
The Starfire's original mission was to be Oldsmobile's large personal luxury machine. That's why it has such a standout presence outfitted in a classy black. This is a clean and complete presentation that has a driver-quality and driver-ready style. So it's a great cruiser. And we love the little things, like the elegant lines of the hardtop profile and classic wire wheel covers with Oldsmobile badge. Plus, what really makes this generation Starfire so memorable is the brightwork. Olds proved even in the mid-60s that it was the best at integrating bumpers into the sheet metal design. Power, luxury, and a unique presentation - we already know why you're attracted to this 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire.
The black interior was refreshed later in life, and it has a great premium sense of style. After all, a black exterior with a black interior makes this the kind of car you'd see the boss driving. So it's great to leave all the windows down on this pillarless hardtop to really show it all off. And it's quite easy to do thanks to the power windows. It's part of a full premium feature package. This includes other factory items like front bucket seats and a center console with tach. This is joined by nice cruiser upgrades like tinted windows and an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input. We're even told there was a newer investment in the air conditioning system, but it will likely need the blend doors serviced before blowing cold again. There's plenty of room for family and friends, but a personal cruiser is also about making the driver a priority. You feel it in the features like the grippy steering wheel, tilt column, and the way the speedometer dominates the full dash.
The big gun in Oldsmobile's arsenal was the "Ultra High Compression" 394 cubic-inch V8. This has the correct style with a big air cleaner, correct decals, and a four-barrel carburetor. It has a very honest style, but there were also newer investments like the timing chain and radiator. The V8 warns up to be a robust powerhouse, and it has a nice cruiser-level ride with the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
The value price leaves room in your budget if you want to upgrade the full cruiser nature, like adding a fuel injection system, polishing the brightwork, or restoring the air conditioning. But from day one, there is an irresistible sense of road-owning style in this big vintage cruiser. Call today!!!
