The absolutely bold two-tone makes sure people instantly recognize this 1982 Chevrolet C10 Silverado as something special. And when you see all the upgrades to the suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, A/C interior, and monster big block under the hood, you can see this was done to be a thoughtful total package.
This truck has the kind of backstory we all want on a unique machine. We were once told that the evolution of this Chevy from everyday pickup to a unique street machine was the result of a group of buddies taking turns owning this Silverado and putting their unique take on different upgrades. It makes for a distinct style the moment the two-tone black and orange come into view. It looks glossy, with orange having a terrific metallic element that pops in the sunshine. There's even a hand-laid green pinstripe package acting as a divider for the two colors all along the body. The white flames, bright chrome bumpers, billet grille, and gold trim around the window show off more thoughtful details. But what really has you taking notice are the speedy upgrades. Description
There's a massive power dome on the cowl hood, center exhaust, and polished Coys wheels staggered 18/20 inches front/rear. And not only does this have a lowered stance, but that clean truck bed also is a subtle way to show off how tubbed the rear wheel wells fit the massive rear tires.
The interior starts with classic truck appeal and then adds solid upgrades. The brown velour bench seat, rubber floor mats, and headliner all have a stock style but an inviting presentation. It's a comfortable cruiser with features such as AM/FM/cassette stereo and cold-blowing air conditioning. The upgraded billet paneling on the dash and door panels gives this a sporty style, especially with the billet column shifter added, too. And there's a nice muscle car kind of feel in this truck with a wood-rimmed Grant sports steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, a wraparound gauge panel, and the tach mounted prominently on top of the dash.
All that bold orange radiating against the black inner walls of the engine bay makes this motor look like it's radiating power. And this certainly has plenty of muscle. It's a 454 cubic-inch V8 that lily has had a mild cam added. The big block has further been upgraded with performance components like a Holley double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a nice set of headers feeding the dual exhaust. It's supported by the right pieces, including an MSD ignition, Accel distributor, and a large radiator with electric fans. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit, and it feeds a Ford 9-inch limited-slip rear end. As you look underneath, you'll also see the rear suspension has been upgraded to ladder bars with a diagonal link and adjustable coilovers. And while this has the power package setup for a quarter-mile king, there's more going on here. It feels more versatile as an all-around good driver with power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the distinct build with a street machine look, a cool story, plenty of power, and a surprisingly easy demeanor. So don't miss this unique full package. Call today!!!
