NUMBERS MATCH 400 V8, ONE FAMILY OWNED, FACTORY COLORS, ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION!

This 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ represents exactly what you want in a classic American survivor. It's a one-family car with the numbers-matching motor, good documentation (including the window sticker), and a true time capsule feeling inside and out. And while the low odometer is believed to represent the full actual mileage, this preserved coupe floats down the road in A/C comfort. So you just know you're going to cruise it everywhere.

The Model SJ designation was borrowed from Duesenberg as part of a way to show these were premium machines, and the details really justify this. The factory correct Brentwood Brown paint has a hint of metallic so that you get a terrific 1970s color that continues to have a radiant appeal in modern times. This also has one of the coolest subtle two-tones going. The tan Landau roof goes well with the tan door rub strips. And you'll absolutely love the pinstripes. It's done in a tan to match the roof, and the full package encircles the unique design lines of the car. This includes the long pointed hood, sporty kick-up in the door, and the artfully tapered trunk. It all looks like one continuous flow thanks to the exceptional sheet metal on a ...

It all looks like one continuous flow thanks to the exceptional sheet metal on a well-preserved coupe.

If you mixed the color of the exterior paint and vinyl top, it would end up looking like the Buckskin interior. So this SJ has a well-harmonized package inside and out. The Grand Prix is one of those cars that drivers really love. They had room for everyone, but they always made sure that it was a personal luxury machine for the driver. That's why it all focuses on you. You have well-bolstered bucket seats, and the center console and dash create a package to envelop you. This has the best features of the time like power windows, an AM/FM stereo, and sporty full round gauges. You'll love it right down to details like the working trunk release in the glovebox and the smooth wood-like trim. It's a preserved and attractive time capsule. So you'll be hard-pressed to see any upgrades, but we do know one that you will feel. The factory air conditioning is now blowing cold with R134a refrigerant, and that makes for an even more comfortable cruiser.

Under the hood is Pontiac's legendary 400 cubic-inch V8. This is the numbers-matching unit for the car, and it has the crisp look of proper care. The V8 fires up readily as it inhales deeply from the four-barrel carburetor. It's a well-respected package, and that makes it a great classic for the road. Features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front continue this easy cruiser feeling. New tires have been installed as of 2022 as well!

This is a coupe that has not left its original family since new. And the sale comes with the original window sticker, warranty card, owner's manual packet, and maintenance records. So you can really understand the level of care that went into this coupe over the decades. If you want to continue this heirloom-like legacy, call today!
