This is not the Blazer for the wilderness. The slick finish on the is part of a restoration/transformation that was only completed about 10k miles ago. The black paint is a modern application with a huge shine that showcases the full custom style. This generation Blazer reveled in its full-size stature with well-creased and intimidating lines. And the dark and glossy nature of the paint serves to show off both the crisp sheet metal and how well it all fits together. Sleekness was a priority so they deleted the trim, rolled the bumpers, and shaved the door handles. The 18-inch Torq Thrust wheels have a sports car nature, especially when the suspension is lowered way down so they can fully fill the wheel wells. And the full billet treatment front end and rear pan perfectly fits into this custom's sleek and intimidating style.

This was born with a half roof, but its generation was once a full convertible, so the always-open roadster style looks quite correct. Because this is a full custom topless roadster, they took the time to shave inches out of the door line and give it a smooth top for a style that makes this look as good as factory. Of course, Chevrolet never gave you flame-kissed door panels on the inside. But while the interior has plenty of flair, this one likes to be useful overall. For example, the upgraded front bucket seats have a body-hugging style, and they are also done in a durable vinyl for the outdoor lifestyle. You may want to upgrade some details if you're looking for a full show truck, but really, this one is just built for easy fun. The useful back seat, large cargo area, wide tailgate, and AM/FM/CD stereo make this a terrific one for loading up everyone and finding a beach. The flame steering wheel goes with the panels, and it's on a tilt column. And the '59 Chevy dash is a great way to bring in a custom classic element while still being able to add crisp AutoMeter Phantom gauges.

Under the hood is quite a stylish setup with the custom red block, black valve covers, and matching flame-etched air grabber. And there's plenty of polish on the battery box, inner fenders, and more. This also has the unmistakable look of proper Chevy V8 power. This hardy 350 cubic-inch small block has been upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and an H-pipe dual exhaust. As you look underneath, the red-painted chassis is a nice custom touch. It's also a reminder that riding on a truck frame gives this a robust backbone even when converted into a roadster. And it's easy to enjoy this Blazer thanks to features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and upgrade to four-wheel power disc brakes.
