This 2008 Chevrolet Corvette looks like a million bucks, but you can get into it for far less. We only sell a few late-model cars here at Streetside Classics, but we absolutely love this one because it's truly a modern classic.

From the first moment you laid eyes on this coupe, you knew this was no ordinary C6 Corvette. It starts with the Machine Silver Metallic paint that has a deep dark shine. This perfectly complements the blacked-out fog lamps and taillights. Plus, the dark coated Z06-style wheels with Corvette Racing Jake center caps continue this mean monochrome attitude. Uniting the black and silver elements of this coupe are the carbon fiber front air dam and rear spoiler. In between is a decal that mimics the ultra lightweight material, and this is surrounded by a red streak to add a dash of color. The overall impression is the kind of no-nonsense aggression that looks like it wants to take you out back and teach you a lesson.

This is a modern premium car, which means there are plenty of modern conveniences inside. It starts with the gray leather bucket seats engineered by people who know how to keep you from sliding around in the corners while still being all-day comfortable. This Corvette comes loaded with navigation, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power seats, premium AM/FM/CD stereo, dual airbags, side airbags, tilt/telescope steering column, and keyless entry/ignition. So while the other Corvettes came from the factory with 430 hp, this one has a boost in power to even beat them off the line. You get to choose how sweet you want the exhaust note to be thanks to the optional dual-mode Z06 exhaust. That means you can be quiet during the morning commute, but screaming down the backroads on the weekends. The six-speed automatic transmission always seems to be in the right gear, and with a towering overdrive, this Corvette pulls down remarkable fuel economy on the open road. This coupe has superior handling thanks to the optional Magnetic Ride Control that was pioneered by Chevrolet and utilized by other more expensive exotic carmakers.
