194 INLINE 6, POWERGLIDE, POWER BRAKES & STEERING, FACTORY COLOR, RARE DROP TOP!

This 1963 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II Convertible is a rare Chevy. So it's great to see it presented in a very classic and correct style that also has the right upgrades and maintenance to keep it a cool cruiser today.

You don't see too many of these Nova convertibles around do you? They cost about as much as some Impalas when new, and so few were willing to spend the extra cash on a drop-top. It gave the convertible Nova lower production numbers where you were over 10 times more likely to see a coupe or sedan than a ragtop. Today that makes for quite a rare classic where scarcity buys true distinction. And because this has a fun story to tell, it's best presented in a look that is quite stock. The Saddle Tan Metallic is the factory-correct color, and it has some of that aged-in style that will have some people suspecting it's original. But it also has the right gloss to look good in the sunshine. You get the same impression from the chrome bumpers and full-length Nova trim. So it's clean and complete, but with nothing overly done. That makes for a good vintage cruiser. And the classic Chevrolet wire wheel covers and rear fender skirts just look like that kind of package the dealer ... Please ask for the full description.

It gave the convertible Nova lower production numbers where you were over 10 times more likely to see a coupe or sedan than a ragtop. And the classic Chevrolet wire wheel covers and rear fender skirts just look like that kind of package the dealer would add the moment you mentioned "The Boulevard."

This has a black convertible top, but we doubt you'll be spending much time with that in place. After all, a drop-top driver like this was meant to be enjoyed with a wind-in-your-hair experience. And the interior is also just too nice to keep to yourself. The plush carpeting, taut door panels, and smooth dash are all done in the correct medium saddle color. The seats even cleverly go with this package with the piping done in a coordinating tan. But what you'll like best about this upgraded upholstery is that it's done in cloth. So you not only have an attractive two-tone, but it's also much nicer to hop in on any sunny day. The steering wheel, gauges, and most of your control have a classic/stock style. But the radio is now a retro-style AM/FM unit w/cassette to make sure this classic cruiser gives you better driving music.

Under the hood, it feels like it's 1963 all over again. After all, we don't see too many of the long blocks anymore that are an instant indicator of Chevy's hardy inline-six. And this 194 cubic-inch unit is an era-correct block. The motor fires up nicely and has the smooth-running nature we love in an inline powerhouse. So it reaffirms this car's road trip ready feeling. Add in the Powerglide automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes, and this one is ready for cruising.

This is the rare Chevy that's all-about vintage drop-top fun. So if you want a driver that also has a story to tell, call today!
