SUPER COOL CUSTOM BUILT TANKER, 350CI MOTOR, 700R4 O/D TRANS, POWER FRONT DISCS

This 1934 Chevrolet 1 1/2 Ton Fuel Tanker is pure industrial-grade fun. After all, it's a sharp-looking classic with only about 650 miles on the full build. And while the presentation is pure pre-war cool, under the skin in small block power, an upgraded suspension, and an overdrive transmission. So it's easier than you think to deliver the goods near or far.

A 1930s Chevy pickup is already a rarity on the classics scene, but isn't the badge in front that will get you the most attention. Instead, it's the unique look of a tanker delivery truck in the long back that's really the show-stopper. It looks particularly nice in a deep blue. The appearance is work-ready, and at the same time, it has a good gloss to be show-ready. The black on the fenders flows through the running boards and then forms the side of the base of the side storage pockets. In fact, the full build has plenty of terrific details, like the amber fog light in front, white artillery wheels, matching white cab pinstripes, classic Chevy hubcaps, and plenty of period-correct hardware. The sailboat fuel joke on the back is a fun reminder that this one isn't going to come with a free tanker of fuel. But we bet there are ... Please ask for the full description.

But we bet there are going to be a few gas stations and boat docks that would love for you to come by for a photoshoot.

The interior has vintage style mixed with the right upgrades. So you get the classic bench seat, but now it has better cushioning, bolstering, and even seatbelts. The big industrial steering wheel is now a sporty wood-rimmed unit. There's a Lokar floor shifter. The gauges are crisp and clean Omega Kustoms units set in a vintage bright panel. And you even have a working heat/defrost system for those early morning deliveries (and car shows.)

The engine bay deviates from the past without losing too much history. After all, the 350 cubic-inch small block was the post-war workhorse for Chevy. It has all the right pieces like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, HEI ignition, and shorty headers feeding a nice dual exhaust. There's even an aluminum radiator to help keep the full package running cool. The upgrades are all about making this classic industrial machine an easy modern cruiser. That's why you have a Mustang II-style independent front end and a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. Power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern Hankook touring tires complete an easy-driving build.

The sale comes complete with build receipts and restoration photos. This '34 Chevy is a great classic pickup that can be driven to work or shows with plenty of pride. So if you're ready for industrial-sized cool, call today!
