3 OWNR W/ 72K ORIG MILES, 1.6L VTEC MOTOR, AUTO, FACTORY COLOR COMBO, DRIVES GR8

This 1995 Honda Del Sol Si is an awesome entry into the new class of modern classics. After all, you have a fuel-injected VTEC motor, nimble handling, and a terrific targa top that turns this into an awesome sunny-day friend.

This Del Sol is in that 25-30 year old range where it's just starting to be appreciated for the collector car it is. A beautiful profile, bright red style, and svelte proportions make it a great sports car in the same tradition as everyone from the MGB to the Mazda Miata. In fact, the MX5 only came out with the flying buttress look within the last few years on the RF model. So Honda's Del Sol had this impressive feature decades before them! You will find areas to improve on this finish if you're looking for perfection. But overall, this has the clean and well-respected look of a car that has averaged under 2,700 miles annually.

Just in case you didn't already know, Del Sol is Spanish for “of the sun” and so this model name was no accident. The targa top removes and is neatly stowed in the trunk. You even have room for your weekend luggage at the same time. And this car really was meant to be driven and enjoyed. Honda put together nice details, like how ...

Just in case you didn't already know, Del Sol is Spanish for "of the sun" and so this model name was no accident. The targa top removes and is neatly stowed in the trunk. You even have room for your weekend luggage at the same time. And this car really was meant to be driven and enjoyed. Honda put together nice details, like how there's an exterior-coordinating red stripe in the seats. But more importantly, they are done in cloth so that it feels good to get in on sunny days when wearing shorts. There's a long list of desirable features like power windows, power locks, air conditioning, dual airbags, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD/XM stereo with Bluetooth. And the rear window is powered, too, so that you can have a full convertible-like breeze whenever you want.

Under the hood is a terrific powerhouse. The Si version got the SOHC 1.6-liter VTEC motor. It makes for a more sporting motor over the standard version. Honda fans know these love plenty of power upgrades, but we like how this remains stock, maintained, and sturdy on this low-mileage example. So you get that nice and steadfast feel of a fuel-injected Honda powerhouse. The four-wheel power disc brakes and fully independent suspension make for a light and nimble car for the backroads. And the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, cruise control, power steering, and good touring tires make for a great easy all-around driver.

Hardy driving fun with an open-top nature is the same idea that has made the Mazda MX5 Miata such a great driver's car. But people don't know the Del Sol as well as the Miata. So you have both nimbleness and distinction. Don't miss a winning total package, call today!
