If you love classic trucks, then this 1978 Ford F-250 Ranger 4x4 will get you excited. It has a ton of terrific vintage details to keep it a cool classic. But they also made the right worthwhile upgrades to keep it a great driver/worker. After all, isn't that what owning a vintage HD 4x4 is all about?
Looking at the door tag, you'll see this truck is wearing correct Bright Blue paint. It has the cool mix of gloss with the right amount of aged-in patina. So it looks nice in traffic, and when people get up close, they give it some real pickup kind of respect. And we like the look of the full-length side trim and bright front end. While you'll love this vintage presentation, we also know this one is attractive for its ability. The F-250 came standard with the longer wheelbase and larger bed, so when it's time to get to work, this truck is up for doing more. Wide tow mirrors, a proper tow hitch with wiring plug, spray-in bedliner, and proper 8-lug wheels with upgraded 17-inch Pacer alloys give this one an undeniable workman appeal.

While you'll love this vintage presentation, we also know this one is attractive for its ability. The sea of blue continues inside. You can tell they took the time to make the right investments while still giving you the right vintage charm. For example, you still have the classic bench seat, but it's a newer cover with comfy cloth inserts for where you sit. Newer carpeting, good door panels, and a smooth dash make for quality fundamentals. The dual spoke steering wheel and factory gauges have the right classic truck feel. And the sliding rear window provides great old-school breezes through the cab. But the AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB input and Bluetooth means upgraded modern driving music.
Powering this pickup is Ford's big 400 cubic-inch V8. It inhales deeper with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. The motor fires up readily, and you'll like the tune of the dual exhaust. The four-speed manual transmission is versatile with good gearing for acceleration, and it also gives you proper control off-road when paired with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case. The Ironman All Country tires are a good pairing with this useful package. It's the kind of total setup that can get you where you want on or off the pavement. Plus, wherever you go, the dual fuel tanks will take you further. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs, and you have a great all-around package.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the outstanding vintage 4x4 that has more ability than even some brand-new pickups. So if you love a terrific classic truck, you know you don't want to let this one slip away. Call today!!!
