390 V8 W/ 3-SPEED AUTO, FRONT DISCS, PWR STEER, FACTORY COLOR COMBO, DRIVES GR8!

Rare, interesting, and quite striking, this 1968 Ford Torino GT convertible is that perfect cool classic cruiser. After all, a 390 V8 under the hood and a wind-in-your-hair attitude make this sharp-looking drop-top ready to hit the road.

The '68 Torino seemed to really live up to its Italian name. This was restyled this year to be arguably one of Ford's most attractive designs of the 1960s. It offered an elegant simplicity that had a hint of European influence. And the paint highlights this idea perfectly. The golden glow is the factory-correct hue, and it remains looking good in the sunshine thanks to a respray later in life. Black always goes well with gold, and so the GT grill and full rocker stripe package ate the ideal complement. And the black vinyl top has a quality style that coordinates well with the full color package. The form-hugging bumpers, GT wheels, and an overall look of preserved quality that makes for a head-turning classic.

The top powers down to reveal a distinct white and tan interior. While these were intermediate-sized in 1969, today that means plenty of space to share with family and friends. And if they are true vintage fans, there is a lot here to impress. ... Please ask for the full description.

It has a detailed classic style, including the trim in the seatbacks, the tri-color Torino insignia in the dash, dual-spoke steering wheel, and even a working AM radio. The quad round gauge package w/tach is pure Italian sports car kind of cool, and there are even auxiliary readouts under the dash for a more complete driver's classic.

Under the hood, the big 390 cubic-inch V8 is the correct displacement for this GT. And there are plenty of correct details for a feeling of authenticity. But if you look close, you can see that this mighty motor now inhales deeper with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock aluminum intake. Add in a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes, and this really proves it's a strong-running solid cruiser.

This is a powerful classic of distinction. In fact, they produced only about 5,300 Torino GT convertibles in 1968. So you have an opportunity at rarity and beauty in a wind-in-your-hair total package. Call today!!!
