This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a defining moment in classic cars. From this point on we would compare all hardtop cruisers to the Tri-Five Chevys, and this is the car that launched that kind of appeal. So it's great to have such an authentically restored car that's great everywhere from the two-tone to the V8 power.
Red and White are as all-American as a Coca-Cola bottle, and this one is beautifully intertwined. After all, part of what makes the '55 Bel Air such an icon is the way the jet-inspired side trim is also used as a clear dividing line for any two-tone. Even the wheels get in on the color coordination with red steelies, whitewalls, and intricate hubcaps with chrome and white trim. And what makes this one so striking is there was an investment here that turned back the clock. So the paint is era-correct colors, but the application is far fresher. There's a beautiful gloss to the paint, the brightwork is glowing, and it's all laid out on quality sheet metal. It's the kind of car that can live up to your high expectations.

Description
What makes this Bel Air so desirable is the pillarless hardtop profile that lets you roll down all the windows and show off the interior. So they also made sure that the inside was as well finished as the outside. And also just like the exterior, the interior has a terrific eye for vintage detail. The seats look terrific with a distinct textured tan cloth insert to break up the sea of red. Good carpeting, a nice headliner, and clean door panels are all part of the well-done fundamentals. This has all the best details, like the smooth twin cowl dash, side vent windows, working dome light, and artful steering wheel. Even the AM radio is still there cranking tunes. So every drive feels like rolling nostalgia.
Part of what makes these cars a legend is that 1955 was the first production year for the small block V8. So when you open the hood, it's great to see such an authentic 265 cubic-inch V8 still so proudly displayed. So you'll enjoy all the correct components like the tall oil bath air cleaner, bold red block, and Chevrolet script valve covers. And the smooth black inner walls, smooth red firewall, and overall tidy presentation tell you it received the right attention. The V8 fires up eagerly like a cruiser that's ready to hit the road, and the Powerglide automatic transmission makes it ready for the boulevards.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a true time machine where you're only going to find minimal signs of use after the restoration. It's the kind of car that will have you planning your weekend around how many car shows and cruise-ins are around. Because you're going to want to share it with the world. Call today!!!
