This 1971 GMC Jimmy 4x4 represents a rare vintage done right. With fuel-injected V8 power, distinctive paint, enhanced 4x4 prowess, and an A/C interior all wrapped around the full convertible appeal. It's the restored classic SUV that has a terrific mix of distinction, ability, and comfort.
For many full-size 4x4 fans, this Jimmy is the one. The first-gen gave you a full convertible top, and the GMC version was rarer than the Chevy. So it gives this one instant respect and demand even before you check out the total vintage package. This was given a full restoration by a professional shop in 2020, and this was completed less than 1k miles ago. It loves to announce this freshness with the Charcoal Gray paint. It's a modern color with a good clearcoat and a nice metallic element that both love to pop in the sunlight. And it's this same glossy appeal that shows off all the curves on the well-done sheet metal. New headlights, crisp emblems, and bright chrome bumpers are all part of the classic appeal. And the lifted suspension and 8-lug wheels will make sure that you always know this is a beefy 4x4.
While the new soft top has a clean look and taut style, you really want to take it off ... Please ask for the full description.

While the new soft top has a clean look and taut style, you really want to take it off to show the rare and desirable full open-air experience. This has a terrific mix of stock-style pieces and the right upgrades. For example, the ProCar seats have the fresh look of new, and those form buckets have terrific modern bolstering. But you still get the classic cup holder center console and western-style pattern in the side panels. And the full setup is united by its crisp black appearance. We especially like the center stack of the dash. It has subtly integrated features like the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/Bluetooth and the control for the R134a air conditioning system. But that EFI touchscreen below them really reminds you that one of the best upgrades of them all is under the hood.
The fresh engine bay has some terrific details. It slyly tries to look stock with classic Chevrolet script valve covers and even some cool decals. But the callout on the air grabber also really tells the full tale. This 350 cubic-inch V8 has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system for added power and consistency. You'll also spot great additions everywhere from the serpentine belt setup to the headers feeding the dual exhaust. As you look underneath, you're reminded how fresh this build is over every inch. But you shouldn't be afraid to get this one dirty. After all, the 4x4 transfer case works with the Skyjacker eight-inch lift, Bilstein 5150 shocks, and Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires for some serious off-road prowess. And even when you're just rolling through town, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs make this a cool cruiser.
This fully restored and upgraded Jimmy offers sharp looks, GMC rarity, full convertible appeal, and a strong-running total package. So don't miss this all-around stunner. Call today!!!
