This 1965 Ford Mustang coupe has a distinct look and V8 power, so the value goes well beyond finding an affordable and complete example of this pony car icon.
This coupe is a little different than many of the other first-gen cars out there. The maroon paint has a red-like boldness, but there's a darker element that plays well into the darker upgrades. So it looks particularly good against the dual black racing stripes that were painted fully over the top of this coupe. And you even have tinted windows for better attitude and utility. The classic trim is complete and the chrome bumpers shine brightly. But this one also has extras such as a custom billet grille and updated headlights to put an even bright face forward. And the addition of the polished 15-inch alloys adds to both the brightness and the speedy attitude.
The black exterior trim accents you a preview of the full black interior. With black seats, door panels, carpeting, and headliner all looking nice, you can tell there was a solid investment here later in life. Description
And the bright trim looks particularly nice here as it breaks up the darkness. Front bucket seats and an upgraded Grant GT steering wheel give you a good driver experience. And as a good driver's coupe, you have upgraded driving music with a retro-style AM/FM stereo w/aux input for your iPod. This was even an A/C car, and many of the main components come with the sale if you want to return the function.
The engine bay has a tidy look with the blue block, matching valve covers, and chrome air topper all leading your eye to this 289 cubic-inch V8. You can tell this has been given good maintenance and nice newer investments like Powermaster chrome alternator and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The V8 fires up readily and makes a nice tune out of the newer dual exhaust. It's built to be a good cruiser, and that's why you also have a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and wide modern tires.
This is a nice classic with the right upgrades to be a distinct and easy driver. Call today!!!
