CLASSIC LOOK/FEEL W/ MODERN UPGRADES, 350 V8, 3-SPEED AUTO, PWR BRAKS/STEER, A/C

This 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe has the looks of a true pre-war classic. It has the V8 power and suspension to give it some sleeper style. And an upgraded interior to make it a good all-around cruiser.

This car has a great classic look with the headlights integrated into the fat fenders, a wide grille, alligator hood, two-piece windshield, running boards, and curvy trunk-back rear. It's the kind of overall style that makes you love the 1940s machines. The factory-correct maroon color even has an aged-in look that gives this Chevy a genuine feel. This one also has the right potential to be a great sleeper kind of car if you so desire. After all, you may have the classic two-piece wheel trim, but if you look a little closer, you also have modern ties and a lowered stance. So as you look at the whole car, you can see it's a bit of a choose-your-own-adventure. There's a lot of fun today and some potential to go in different directions tomorrow.

The interior is a cool mix of classic and new. For example, the bench seat has a classic cloth style, but it has been refinished later in life. And the door panels were also done to match. There are some good comfort upgrades, like an ... Please ask for the full description.

There are some good comfort upgrades, like an AM/FM/CD stereo, and provisions for R-134a air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) Plus, they made this a better driver's car with a Lecarra sports steering wheel, a tilt column, and a full set of crisp VDO gauges set in a cool/bright panel.

Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8 upgrade. A small block like this has a ton of potential for performance upgrades if you were looking to have a sleeper hot rod, and the motor already inhales deeper with a Weber four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake. But if you look at the overall package, it's already quite a well-done setup. There are maintenance receipts going back to 2013 documenting over $23,000 invested in this Chevy. Just within the last few years there have been new front shocks, wheel bearings, a new alternator, and trans fluid change. So you have a nice running total package made to hit the road. That's why you also have upgrades like the Mustang II-style independent front end and a reinforced chassis. Add in a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front, and it's easy to enjoy this classic Chevy right now.

So when a unique and invested pre-war classic is up for grabs, you know you need to act quickly to get it home. Call today!!!
