This may be the silhouette of a classic 1935 Chevrolet, but that's about the only vintage thing about it. The paint instantly announces something special. Two-tones happened in the 1930s, but there's no mistaking this for anything but a modern application. The silver has so much glow that it looks like the top half was finished in a true precious metal, and the bottom gray has so much depth that the tone shifts as the light moves across it. So when you look at those curvaceous fenders, it almost appears like they were painted with a fade. Adding to the sleekness are details like the frenched license plate and flush-mounted gas cap. The 4L70E is a stout four-speed automatic transmission built to handle the big power, and this feeds a strong Ford 9-inch rear end.
