This 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute is an awesome build that takes a ton of the Shelby GT350's style, and it upgrades it in every way. That means larger V8 power, an upgraded suspension, five-speed stick-shift, and it's all wrapped around a slick black fastback.
The sleek black instantly sets this coupe apart. It's the kind of finish that shows off the impressive body quality and instantly conveys that they made a big investment in this car. And while it was built to stand out from the crowd, it's also unmistakable Shelby inspired. For example, the dual racing stripes and rocker stripes give this the right GT350 flair. The hood scoop and hood pins give this an aggressive face, and that's furthered by the billet grille with correct offset pony emblem. Side scoops and a GT350 gas cap show you they paid attention to details. And those wheels have a classic Halibrand-style look, but they are larger and polished to make sure this one announces it's something extra special.
Arguably, nothing looks better on a black speed machine than a well-done black interior. The investments here were done nicely. You have classic elements, like the wood-rimmed steering wheel and vintage racing ... Please ask for the full description.

And those wheels have a classic Halibrand-style look, but they are larger and polished to make sure this one announces it's something extra special.
Arguably, nothing looks better on a black speed machine than a well-done black interior. The investments here were done nicely. You have classic elements, like the wood-rimmed steering wheel and vintage racing seatbelts. Plus, there are some well-integrated modern upgrades, like the bucket seats have a stock look but actually have better modern bolstering and are done in a supple leather. While the AM radio is still on display, your real driving music comes from an AM/FM/CD stereo that has Bluetooth, inside the glove compartment, and upgraded speakers. There are cool racing details, like the fire extinguisher mounted on the trans tunnel and a full-size spare mounted on the fold-down rear seat. And the Hurst shifter goes particularly well with the large Shelby tach mounted on the dash.
The engine bay is sharp, clean, and built for power. It has the right Shelby touches, like the ribbed Cobra valve covers and a Monte Carlo bar. But the '66 Shelby cars had 289s, and this one goes for bigger power with a bigger motor. It's a 351 cubic-inch V8 topped with a four-barrel carburetor. You also have the right sporting components, including an MSD coil, MSD distributor, Optima red top battery, and an aluminum radiator. The transmission was a park of nearly $5k invested in upgrading it to a five-speed. This Tremec TKO500 gives you enhanced control over the V8 and its rumbling soundtrack. And as you look underneath the car, you'll see worthwhile components, like front disc brakes, rear traction bars, and grippy ZR-rated tires.
