I'm warning you up front: there aren't enough words or photos to adequately describe this incredible 1967 Mustang fastback. On the outside, it looks like the nastiest GT500 you've ever seen. On the inside, it's a modern Cobra, complete with a supercharged DOHC V8, 6-speed manual, and a fully independent suspension. Not many cars are as fast AND as beautifully finished as this one.
Many car enthusiasts recognize modified Mustangs like this as “Eleanor,” and the dramatic fiberglass bits that make this GT500 look-alike so amazing are the same ones that you saw on the big screen a few years ago. From the gaping front bumper with driving lights nestled inside to the twin-snorkel hood, to the ducktail spoiler out back that was a legitimate Shelby styling cue, this Mustang looks every bit as fast as it is. Electric blue paint with silver stripes are pure Shelby and the quality is quite good, as you'd expect from a car of this caliber. Other styling additions are the Shelby badges, a billet grille insert, and bullet-style sport mirrors that are straight out of the '60, and, of course, integrated side exhaust pipes sound simply spectacular. Out back, there are sequential Thunderbird taillights, and ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
I'm warning you up front: there aren't enough words or photos to adequately describe this incredible 1967 Mustang fastback. On the outside, it looks like the nastiest GT500 you've ever seen. On the inside, it's a modern Cobra, complete with a supercharged DOHC V8, 6-speed manual, and a fully independent suspension. Not many cars are as fast AND as beautifully finished as this one.
Many car enthusiasts recognize modified Mustangs like this as "Eleanor," and the dramatic fiberglass bits that make this GT500 look-alike so amazing are the same ones that you saw on the big screen a few years ago. Out back, there are sequential Thunderbird taillights, and you'll note how beautifully the stripes trace every single component on the car, a detail that involved dozens of hours of additional work.
Low-back buckets anchor the interior, which features custom blue and silver leather seat covers, matching door panels, and a beautifully fabricated center console. Even the fold-down rear seat got a complete makeover yet remains fully functional. Gauges are by Auto Meter, neatly integrated into the original Mustang dash, along with a pair of extras over in the center stack just below the controls for the Vintage Air A/C system. A state-of-the-art entertainment system with a big subwoofer enclosure in the trunk and a screen in the dash sounds fantastic and reveals another layer of detail that went into the build. A billet wheel was wrapped in blue leather to match the seats and there's a matching billet knob for the 6-speed shifter. The whole set up is quite impressive.
But perhaps this car's greatest trick is under the skin, where most of the important parts of a 2003 Mustang Cobra were transplanted seamlessly, starting with the supercharged 4.6-liter DOHC V8 engine. The ultra-wide engine is a neat fit in the '67's engine bay and features color-matched supercharger housing and cam covers. There's a custom aluminum radiator up front and the original accessory drive keeps it streetable. It's backed by the Mustang's Tremec 6-speed manual gearbox, which is more than up to handling the engine's towering torque output. The stainless steel exhaust system is like artwork and makes the engine sound like ripping silk at full-tilt, and out back the Mustang's independent rear end was installed, disc brakes and all, so there are no more live-axle antics like in the original. A massive X-brace and subframe connectors reinforce the tub, and the front end is held firm with a custom A-arm suspension with power rack-and-pinion steering. Giant disc brakes live behind those 18-inch TSW alloys, which carry 235/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear performance radials.
This car is simply stunning, both to look at and to drive. Few modern cars can touch it, and there's nothing built in 1967 that even comes close. For all the amazing details, give us a call!
