6.0L MOTOR SWAP, O/D TRANS, 12 BOLT REAR, VERY SOLID TRUCK, UPDATED SEATS, NICE!

You may note with some interest that trucks like this 1969 Chevrolet C10 Restomod sell faster than just about anything else we get in stock. They're handsome, rugged, and with the right upgrades like this one has, a ton of fun on the street (think: Camaro with a bed). So, it is with some urgency that I ask you to look it over, then give us a call, because like those that have come before it, this one surely won't last long.

Beautifully finished and bristling with horsepower, this slick C10 takes everything that was great about these trucks and turns it up to 11. Note the clean grille and painted front bumper, the higher-than-stock stance, and the roll-panned rear bumper, all of which suggest there's more to this pickup than just hauling lumber. The deep blue paint gives it a high-impact attitude that works neatly the aggressive details, making most folks do a double-take when they see it because it looks exactly right. Finish quality is excellent all around, not a trailer queen, but absolutely nice enough to be worthy of the attention that it generates on the street. The bed is beautifully finished, too, thanks to recent wood planks and bright chrome hardware that's probably too nice to ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

The bed is beautifully finished, too, thanks to recent wood planks and bright chrome hardware that's probably too nice to throw any dirty equipment on top of, but if you do, an installed tonneau cover can be rolled over the bed to hide your shame. The entire stance is slightly raised on this C10 thanks to the addition of modern Silverado alloys, and we love the more aggressive approach to the road.

The handsome interior is anchored by a set of modern gray buckets out of a late-model Chevy, which work surprisingly well in the vintage pickup's cab. Dark black on the door panels and dash ties it together, but strangely none of it is overwhelming but actually quite tasteful. Plush carpets certainly add to the comfort of the cabin, as does the thick-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel and spacious center console. The factory gauge bezel is in fantastic shape, with bright, crisp gauges clearly presented in front of the driver's position. It's also got a Retrosound AM/FM/AUX stereo system that sounds great thanks to good sound insulation in the cab and great speakers in the kick panels. The big back window in the cab is a highly desirable option for the C10, and the glass in the whole pickup is clear and clean all around. Nice truck, right?

The snarling 6.0L V8 crate motor would definitely be at home in an early Camaro, and this relatively lightweight pickup makes good use of the horsepower on tap. It's powered by an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and GM intake, and snaps to attention with a flick of a key, ready to rumble on command. It looks very presentable with a big open-element air cleaner, a clean block, and bright red plug wires and HEI distributor. Long-tube headers dump into a custom Flo-Pro dual exhaust system that turns out underneath the roll pan and produce an awesome soundtrack at full throttle. The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission was built with longer cruises in mind but is still snappy enough to fly off the line at a red light thanks to an installed shift-kit. There's also a rugged 12-bolt rear end, probably necessary with those giant rear meats, as well as a power steering system and power 4-wheel disc brakes at each corner that go a long way in improving the driver's experience. Add in a newer gas tank and those tall 6-lug Silverado alloy wheels for an updated look, and it wears 265/65/18 white-wall radials all around.

If you like the look, you're going to love how it runs and drives. Like I said, this beautiful C10 probably won't last long, especially after the first guy comes in for a test drive. Call today!
