#'S MATCHING 400CI MOTOR, ORIGINAL COLOR COMBO, FACTORY A/C, NICE DROP TOP!

Just in time for summer! A Red Convertible! And if that's not enough to tickle your fancy, then read on. Because this classic is cool for a couple other reasons too. It has air conditioning for those days when the sun is just too hot, or those times you're dressed up for a night on the town. And, for those who appreciate originality, it is a completely stock, numbers matching car.

You just don't see too many of these Firebird convertibles out there and when you do, you notice them. The front end leads with a chrome grill that splits the air side to side, flanked by quad headlights, with a center section which fairs nicely into a crisp ridge that runs back along the centerline of the hood. Sweet. Especially when it's all shined up in its Matador Red. That crease is echoed on the tops of the front fenders and also along the side of the car with a line that runs front to rear. Firebird appears in script on the front fender, along with side vents, and the Firebird itself is on the rear fenders. The chrome shines brightly all around starting with that grill, trimming out all the lights, the fender wells, the rockers, and of-course the back bumper which underlines those double ...

The chrome shines brightly all around starting with that grill, trimming out all the lights, the fender wells, the rockers, and of-course the back bumper which underlines those double slotted taillights. Chrome Torq Thrust wheels add their splash of flash, and when the roof is down stashed under its black boot, this car looks awesome!

Open the door and you will find a very nice interior. The door panel have pleated centers with thin chrome piping and nice armrests for cruising. The seats also have pleated center sections with smooth vinyl along the sides. There is a three spoke steering wheel with the Pontiac arrowhead in the center and a neat and clean dash behind it. It is not restored and perfect, but rather has that nice "survivor" patina to it. An analog clock sits next to the ventilation controls and the A/C vent that you will appreciate from time to time, and below it is what looks like a stock AM radio, but is really and AM/FM and iPod compatible unit with speakers throughout the interior. Below that is the gorgeous wood grained center console, trimmed in chrome, with the wooden knob topping the shifter for the automatic transmission. Floor mats protect the carpets and of course the roof hides under its boot when its time for drop top motoring.

Pop the hood and you will find that original numbers matching 400 cubic inch V8 engine painted that sweet Pontiac Blue. It is nestled down in a neat and clean engine compartment that is gloriously stock. The proper stickers are on the black air cleaner housing and the radiator fan shroud. The air conditioning compressor sits proudly on the left side with the alternator on the right just above the power steering pump with the power brake booster and master cylinder perched on the firewall. A coil spring front suspension is equipped with disc brakes, and the power flows back through the 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission to the solid axle rear mounted on leaf springs. A new dual exhaust system includes Flowmaster mufflers which add a nice sound to the exhaust, and the car sits on 235/60R15 Radial T/As all around mounted on those sharp looking American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.

Come on down and check this sweet ride out. Then take it home and head out for some summertime fun.
