While the LaSalle was Cadillac's junior, the fact that it only lasted a few years makes a sedan like this 1938 Model 50 a sought-after pre-war classic. And when this unique vehicle is complete from its shining chrome to its large V8, you know you're looking at something special for a quite affordable price.
This LaSalle makes a lasting impression with a long, pointed hood and rounded trunk that typifies the era. Aerodynamics were making the cars sleeker every year, so the raked windshield and curvaceous fenders are as functional as they are handsome. The tall, narrow grille had become a LaSalle trademark by then, and the bullet-shaped headlights were fared into the sides of the hood, creating a very unique look. There has been plenty invested over the last eight decades keeping this classic looking good. That's why the maroon paint highlights all curves of the sheetmetal, and the brightwork is complete from the fine front horizontal grilles to the unique license plate light.
