Everyone from Ford to Hyundai is getting back into the small pickup game, and when that happens, we always get reminded that the classics are even better. That's especially true with this exceptionally presented 1985 Chevrolet S-10. It has a bright two-tone style, solid V6 power, an overdrive transmission, and an A/C interior. It's a well-invested classic that also is offered for a value price.
There are a lot of detail upgrades that have gone into this pickup to make this an all-around terrific ride. It starts with the paint. You have a nice cream borrowed from Porsche's color palette. And that's sandwiched by a special of copper with added copper pearl for an extra pop in the sunshine. When someone takes the extra time to get a special formula on a truck, you know it has been held in high esteem. And the custom color is just the beginning of the full custom treatment. The steel cowl hood, later S-10 front end, and torque thrust wheels give this some sporty style. We also love how the horizontal arrangement of the two-tone makes this long bed look even longer, and this useful feature is extra handy thanks to the full liner paint. And as you look at the bright chrome bumpers, ... Please ask for the full description.

And as you look at the bright chrome bumpers, complete trim, and clean body lines, you can really start to see a pickup where they took the time to get it correct - right down to the details.
The interior likes to look stock, but it doesn't take long to understand you have an upgraded experience. After all, The carpeting never felt this plush and you didn't get this kind of premium wood-like trim from the factory. There's even an AM/FM stereo that's made to look like the classic GM unit, but it now has a modern USB input to plug in your phone. The comfy velour seat and wood-rimmed steering wheel make for a nice driver. And you even get to stay cool on the long haul with cold-blowing air conditioning.
The 2.8-liter V6 was the right-sized motor for these smaller/lighter pickups. Sure, there are plenty of powerful Chevy V8s that fit in this engine bay, and that makes for a great combo with these lightweight pickups. But there's also something attractive about an honest classic that has been presented this well. We have a nice maintenance file that shows this motor was given a tune-up in 2020 that included a new alternator. And as you look underneath, you can also see plenty of more recent suspension investments, including the control arms and bushings. It all makes for a stout-running package that loves to cruise. After all, you not only have the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, but also there's power steering, power brakes, and front discs for an all-around easy driver.
The sale comes complete with maintenance records and the owner's manual. So when your neighbor brings home one of those new small trucks, make sure you have this one out in your driveway. It's the shining and loaded example of why we love the segment so much. And while this level of classic pickup distinction will make your neighbor jealous, he'll really be floored by how much less you paid to get it. Call today!!!
