WOW! 1 OWNER SURVIVOR, JUST 56K KM'S (35K MILES), CLEAN HISTORY, JUST SERVICED!

There's no way around it, so we'll just hit it head-on. If you drive this car, people are going to shout, “Hey Magnum!” at you. Never mind that this is one of the most handsome mid-engined Ferraris ever designed, its iconic stature as the ultimate TV prop makes it a celebrity all by itself. Fortunately, this 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole has lived an easy life that wasn't wasted away on a studio lot, and thanks to loads of maintenance (including lots of very recent and expensive service) it drives just like a vintage Ferrari should. And with only 56,707 kilometers on the clock, this 1-owner 308's head-turning days have only just begun.

Still wearing its original shade of Rosso Corsa, this Ferrari is the biggest crowd-pleaser currently parked in our showroom. With an angular body that defined '80s supercars, the 308 GTS Quattro was the Ferrari for the individual who didn't want to compromise practicality for performance. Just sitting in one instantly sprouts a Tom Selleck-level moustache on your face and tones your abs into an 8-pack. Hell, you show up in this beauty and you might even get that Friday night reservation at Dorsia opposite Paul Allen. Of course, any vintage Ferrari is a ... Please ask for the full description.

There's no way around it, so we'll just hit it head-on. If you drive this car, people are going to shout, "Hey Magnum!" at you.

Of course, any vintage Ferrari is a stunning performer, with thrilling sounds and a character that no other manufacturer has ever been able to duplicate, drawing a perfect balance between substance and style. The bright red finish is original, so it shows some signs of use here and there, but a quality buff and polish would really bring the paint back to life despite some of those expected imperfections. Regardless, 99% of the gawking public would describe this Ferrari's curb appeal as sexy, epic, drop-dead gorgeous, etc., while the other 1% is likely Cameron Frye's father from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. All of Bertone's original folds and creases remain intact and other details like the rubber, grilles, and plastic lenses are similarly well preserved, and of note, this car still wears all of its correct badges. So, while EVERYONE will recognize you in this car, the experts will recognize that it's an exceptionally nice 308 GTS Quattrovalvole – the one to get if investments are your thing. All the black rubber bits are nicely preserved originals too, with no signs of major UV damage or fading like you see on all the Ferraris from Miami Beach.

Inside, the tan leather interior is exactly what you'd expect from your '80s Ferrari: deeply sculpted bucket seats stitched in Italian patterns, that iconic chrome gated shifter that clangs through the gears like a bolt-action rifle, and that purring V8 just behind your shoulder blades. It remains in good condition today, with signs of use and age but no rips or tears to speak of. The leather shows comfort marks but is still supple, the dashboard hasn't faded, and the carpets show very little wear considering that this car has always been enjoyed (in fact, the Ferrari mats took most of the damage, just like they were meant to), and the carpets behind the seats are actually new. The door panels, center console, and sporty dash have held up incredibly well, and it certainly shows that a very conscientious woman owned this car since new. The fat Momo steering wheel connects you to the road in a way that you probably haven't experienced before, and you'll never get tired of watching the traditional black and white gauges do their dance as the engine sings its siren song. A vintage Spectrum Whistler was dealer-installed to the left of the dash way back in 1984, an the Alpine AM/FM/Cassette player in the center of the dash is from the same era, teaming up with cold factory A/C and power windows to round out the options list. If open air cruising is your thing, the targa top pops off with ease and transforms the profile of this beautiful 'Rari, but be prepared to have Chevy Chase shamelessly flirt with you from the station wagon in the next lane.

Ferrari's lovely 2.9 liter V8 seems diminutive until you fire it up and practically crack your lips from smiling so hard. The 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is the ultimate version, and if you're looking at 308s, it really is the only one to consider. With 4-valve heads (hence the Quattrovalvole part), it is a high-revving, deep-breathing powerplant from the company with more Formula 1 wins than just about anyone else. Performance is breathtaking, but more than that, it's the overall balance of the car, which is agile without feeling skittish, and somehow comfortable without being soft. And with plenty of maintenance completed throughout the years, including lots of recent work completed by the pros at Boardwalk Ferrari in Dallas, it's a motor that's ready to dominate for decades to come. It will carve canyons, yet happily cruise down the highway, and thanks to the 5-speed's tall top gear, it actually pulls down decent gas mileage if you can keep your foot out of it (yeah, right). Finishing the look, traditional 5-spoke Ferrari alloys are in great condition and wear 225/55/390 Michelin performance radials all-around.

Documented with loads of maintenance records and receipts, this low-kilometer 1-owner sports car is the best version of arguably the most iconic Ferrari ever built, and it turns out that it's an awesome road car, too. Call now!
