1600 CC MOTOR, CLUTCH-LESS SHIFT AUTO TRANS, STOCK STYLE, CLEAN INTERIOR, FUN!!

For those of you who shy away from a manual transmission, or just love a classic with distinct features, you're going to love this 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. It's a well-priced classic with the distinct clutches transmission know at the AutoStick.

The Beetle is all about classic lines, sturdy components, and an overall look of fun. This complete and vibrant yellow car shows all of that in its first impression. And while it's not perfect, the value price leaves room in your budget for upgrades. However, quite frankly, when you have a strong-running and correct total package like this, it's just a lot of fun to enjoy from day one.

The black interior looks quite nice against the exterior yellow. And the painted upper door panels also prove it. As you look at the seats, carpeting, and door panels, you can recognize a solid investment to keep this deep, dark, and fresh. While they invested in this car, they also made sure to keep this classic looking quite stock. You have the original-style steering wheel with Wolfsburg crest, correct VDO gauge, and even a period-correct AM radio that's cranking out tunes. Plus, this Beetle might look like it's a stick shift, but if you count the pedals, ... Please ask for the full description.

Plus, this Beetle might look like it's a stick shift, but if you count the pedals, you don't have to be intimidated. VW's optional AutoStick does all the clutch work, and so all you do is row the gears with zero worries about stalling.

The 1600cc motor was the largest VW displacement from the series, and it looks quite correct in the engine bay. It fires up nicely as the flat-four makes the Beetle's iconic hum. Volkswagens sometimes were off-putting to people who didn't know how to drive manual transmissions. So their solution was adapting the Autostick gearbox that has a vacuum-operated clutch. There's no third pedal, but you still get the control of rowing through the three forward gears to get the most out of the VW's hardy motor. It feels quite advanced in a 1970s machine, and it's always fun to show off to classic car fans who THINK they've seen everything.

This is the Volkswagen for those who loved the look of the Bug but wanted a more relaxed way to drive. So if you want distinction and convenience, this VW is ready for you. Call today!!!
