This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible is a well-coordinated total package with its numbers-matching Rocket V8, an A/C interior, nice investments, and terrific classic details. So when you can have both style and substance, you know this is a great classic droptop.
The burgundy paint is a great color for this car. It has a similar boldness to red, which is what you want on a V8 classic convertible. But it also has a deeper tone of sophistication, which fits perfectly with the Oldsmobile image. After all, these Cutlasses really had style. The bumpers knew how to hug the body just right. And it only gets better on this example where you have a new mirror-like one up front, and the rear is notched to fit the dual exhaust like an Olds 442. The full-length side trim, dual waterfall grilles, and Super Stock wheels complete this bright and vintage package. The white folding roof provides a timelessly attractive contrast against the burgundy, so this is one of the rare convertibles that looks good with the roof in place. In fact, this is rare in total. After all, the Cutlass was a popular model line, but they produced less than 4,900 Supreme convertibles this year.

With a flip of a switch, the power top goes down, but you still get a similar desirable color combo thanks to the premium cream-colored interior. This one loves to show off its vintage upper class style with plenty of wood-like trim and the classic AM/FM stereo with restored 8-track player. There were even subtle but worthwhile upgrades like new Dynamat insulation and new door seals. So it's a well-done car that's great to share with family and friends. There's even air conditioning to keep them all comfortable with the top down. But even when you're just going solo, this Cutlass is a terrific driver's machine. That's why you get a high-back bucket seat, four-spoke Olds sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and the armrest center console also has the famous His & Hers Hurst dual gate shifter.
You get more great vintage style under the hood with the numbers-matching motor. People love to see the golden block of the Olds Rocket V8 radiating from within the dark engine bay, and even the air topper still has the "Keep your GM car all GM" sticker on it. More than just look great, the Rocket 350 is an ideal motor to have. Remember, Oldsmobile produced their own V8s during this era, and they have a robust reputation. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. More of that 442-style presentation is seen in the undercarriage with a thick sway bar up front and reinforced boxed arms in the rear with a sway bar. Plus, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front combine to deliver a terrific classic cruising convertible.
This is the Cutlass convertible with the right look, the right features, and the right investments. So you know it's the right one for you. Call today!!!
