This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette gets all the important stuff right, and it's ready to rock right now. Get in and drive!
The code 976 LeMans Blue is the factory-correct color. You'll say that race-inspired name with a little smile on your face, because you know this is a completion-worthy tri-power machine. But more than just the right name, the color benefits from a more modern respray. So it has a nice luster that accentuates the new-for-'68 design, which is particularly appealing with the big block hood. Plus, the panels have the fit of good care and investment right down to the smooth headlight flaps and the doors you can shut with authority. So this really has the look of quality. These earlier C3s are also for the bright work lovers, and so the thin bumpers, bright grille, rocker panels, and Rally wheels come together to add to this vintage shine package.
The sea of blue continues inside. You get high-back bucket seats that are inviting and the material is high quality. The sea of blue continues inside. You get high-back bucket seats that are inviting and the material is high quality. The driver gets the original gauge package with the large speedo and tach straight ahead. Plus, the C3s were terrific for providing all the info with a full auxiliary readout panel dead center in the car. This one has all the right upgrades to be a great driving classic. You have an AM/FM/CD stereo, a grippy wood and chrome steering wheel made to look like a factory unit, and that Hurst shifter that's just calling out for your right hand. You not only get the T-tops and power windows, but also this has the removable rear window for a true open-air experience accompanied by that aggressive muscle car exhaust note.
Under the hood is 454 cubic inch V8 crate V8. And while the displacement alone will have you excited, there's also a triple set of dual-barrel carbs under the iconic triangle air topper. As you take a look at this impressive engine bay, the shine is not only for show, but also for the right supporting components – including a Be Cool aluminum radiator. This is a monster motor, and so the Hedman headers help the dual exhaust lets loose a ferocious roar. The perfect paring to this is the Muncie M22 Rock Crusher close ratio four-speed manual gearbox that allows you to take full advantage of the massive torque produced by the motor. This growsl like a beastly machine, it's quite easy to tame thanks to the power steering, fully independent suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes.
Here's a seriously powerful classic that has been invested in correctly for both style and drivability. It's everything you've been looking for and priced far less than you expected. So don't miss out, call today!
