This is the end of an era. The 1957 Hudson Hornet was the final year for the brand, and so to have one so well preserved – right down to its correct V8 – makes for an exceptional tribute to this icon.

Even in the final year of Hudson, buying a Hornet was a unique and premium experience. And that paintwork really proves it. The glowing Avocado green is expertly interwoven in-between the Mojave Yellow roof and lower section. Not only are these the factory-correct colors, but also we believe this to be all original. It was a true luxury experience for '57, that's why this cost 25% more than a Chevy's premium Bel Air and also why there were only 1,256 Hornet Super sedans produced in this final year.

Under the hood is the correct 327 cubic-inch V8, and it's believed to be original. So yes, you get a true survivor with its factory motor. More than just history, it's great to have a '57 that has such a large displacement and a four-barrel carburetor on top. In fact, today this Hudson remains a fine cruiser thanks to the Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
