SUPER LOOK, 2.0L TWIN CARB, 5 SPEED, 4 WHL DISCS, NICE UPGRADES, GR8 PAINT, A+!

The Mazda Miata was not the first car to take the British roadster appeal and add in reliable Japanese components. This 1969 Datsun 2000 offers plenty of vintage style in a speedy and nimble droptop package. And when you peek inside, you'll realize there was a lot invested in making this a modern class act.

What instantly attracts you to this car is a serious investment in making sure the body is looking great. It's a product of not only making sure the panels fit well and the doors shut with authority, but also it's about getting all the features right from the hood scoop to the subtle tailfin. All the chrome has a mirror like shine, the light blue has the luster of a modern clearcoat, and the tan top fits sung like a practical classic should. The overall presentation looks like the best of Europe, but it came from the engineering minds at Nissan/Datsun. And just to make sure this one was looking its best, crystal clear headlights were added and Dayton Wire knock-off wheels were added. It's a theme of looking great with the right upgrades that continues inside, too.

One of the reasons we love the British sportscars is because the interiors feel like an old-school craftsman created ... Please ask for the full description.

One of the reasons we love the British sportscars is because the interiors feel like an old-school craftsman created them. Datsun did a good job with the 2000, but it never was a match for the best of Europe... until now. The earlier style metal dash was hydro-dipped to give the appearance of smooth walnut wood. The same goes for many of the panels on the center console and doors, and the classic banjo-style steering wheel was added. The bucket seats are made from a durable vinyl with a comfortable microfiber insert, and the whole color scheme is designed to coordinate with the interior and roof. And while the full Speedhut gauge package is a nice modern upgrade, the one that will have your attention is a little less subtle. The Parrot touchscreen interface controls the AM/FM stereo, and it's compatible with a card reader and your iPod as well as can charge USB devices. So you can have the most modern tunes playing while you have fun in your very vintage roadster.

Open the hood for a little fun. The valve cover for the 2.0-liter and breather for the twin carbs have been given the same wood-like appearance as the interior. But more than just looking good, you're viewing the heart of the 2000's appeal. Datsun offered a more reliable and more powerful engine than most of its English competitors. So when it's part of such a nicely built package, you have a motor that fires up easily, purrs with that perfect roadster exhaust note, and is reliable all the way through your favorite Sunday drive. Add in the four-wheel disc brakes and five-speed manual transmission, and you have a package that offers complete control in one beautiful blue roadster.

This Datsun was restored only a few years ago, and you can see the quality in everything right down to the super clean undercarriage photos. These are a rapidly appreciating classic, and you're looking at one that has been given all the right upgrades. So you know you have to act quickly to take it home. Call today!!
