This attractive 1947 Dodge Custom four-door sedan was stylish and practical when new, and with the right investment, that spirit lives on even today. That's because it's an affordable and enjoyable way to get an early post-WWII classic.
These cars are a great piece of American history. The styling had not evolved too far beyond the pre-WWII days, because this model year was just all about getting vehicles into the hands of an eager nation that was ready to once again celebrate the open road. This one symbolizes that cheery optimism with a great shade of blue. It has the kind of deep color that would look right on a 1940s machine, but this later respray retains an excellent gloss that makes sure to show off all the curves in the sunshine. And a true classic American like this deserves quality brightwork. It's quite striking with the large grille, wraparound bumpers, two-piece wheel covers on the whitewalls, and ram hood ornament. Plus, we love how they took the time to design the full-length trim to incorporate the door handles.
The advantage of a Dodge sedan of this era is that you get to park at the show and show off the cool suicide door style. It even gives people a nice peek ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
It even gives people a nice peek at the classic mohair style cloth upholstery with button-top seatbacks. The flashy wood-texture dash is full of crisply marked instruments and art deco chrome trim. It's a true time warp of an experience as you sit behind the stylish steering wheel with its unique crest at the center. And speaking of getting down to driving, this Dodge loves to be a proper cruiser from modern times. So they gave you the right additions, like auxiliary readouts and front seatbelts.
Under the hood looks refreshingly correct with only the right upgrades. This 230 cubic-inch inline-six has nice details like a 12-volt system, an upgraded coil, and an alternator. We were even told the head was rebuilt in 2021 to keep this a solid running Mopar. And because this one is a driver, you'll love taking proper control the old-school way with the smooth-shifting three-on-the-tree manual transmission.
The cars of the immediate post-WWII time always hold a special place in our driving hearts. So if you want something distinct, vintage, fun, and truly patriotic, you need this Dodge in your garage. Call today!!!
