The 1991 Nissan Figaro is quite special considering they were only made for one year, and they were never officially imported to the USA. More than just a novelty, these were built with a premium eye with a leather interior, air conditioning, and a nifty fold-back disappearing roof. So this rare import is truly unforgettable.
The Nissan Figaro was a true dream car come to life. Nissan brought us back to an era that they didn't even get to fully embrace the first time around. It was a re-imagining of European small car icons like the Vespa 400 and Fiat 500. But these also had the extra brightwork and quality fit/finish that let you know these were premium retro machines. The Pale Aqua paint is factory correct, and these were given pleasant pastel colors because you already couldn't help but smile at this distinct and fun machine. And this one was resprayed later in life to remain bright and cheery. Plus, the full package almost appears like a two-tone with the contrasting white roof, side mirrors, and wheels.
The interior is all about premium sophistication. The white leather seats have gray piping that goes nicely with the carpeting and dash. This car has been enjoyed, but it has ... Please ask for the full description.

This car has been enjoyed, but it has been done responsibly, so it still has a premium appeal today. It's easy to share this interior with the world thanks to one of the Figaro's hallmark features. The entire roof panel folds back - everything from the top of the windshield to the base of the rear window. It stows neatly in the trunk, and will instantly make a Fiat 500C owner jealous. In fact, it gives you the cool factor of a Vespa or a Citroen, but with modern Japanese build quality. This is a JDM car so you get features, like the right-hand drive position and a speedometer in kilometers (so the actual miles is less than six figures.) This uniqueness means you'll love showing it off, and because of that, this special car also has the right creature comforts to make it an easy driver. This includes power windows, the factory AM/FM/cassette stereo, and cold-blowing air conditioning.
Under the hood is a 1.0-liter motor. It's fuel-injected and turbocharged to deliver decent power. You won't win any drag races, but that was never the point about owning one of these cool cars. After all, you want everyone to see you in it. The receipt file shows this was refreshed with a replacement motor in 2014, and it continues to be a strong runner today. Plus, while this is a low-production machine, the motor shares plenty with much more common Nissans. That means a sturdy construction and easier parts availability for years to come. Because this was built to be a cruiser, you also have easy driving features, like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front.
Complete with maintenance records, this is the ultra-rare retro-cool car that is always a ton of fun to drive and show. A chance like this may never come around again, call today!
