We have the original order form from a customer living in Aspen, Colorado, and the car is only believed to have had two other owners since her. So the body panels have a clean look where you can clearly see the triple-point front end, flared fenders, and smooth rear that even appears to have the original dealer tag. The factory-correct Provincial White was given a respray later in life, and it has a clean but mature style that will just make people think you have the ultimate survivor. After all, everything from the fit of the form-hugging bumpers to the look of the factory wheel covers shows a stock style on this rare classic.

The white roof against the white paint looks quite nice. And it has the right mix of maturity to go with the exterior while also being quite useful with its power operation and glass black window. But we bet you're not thinking too much about the roof. A large Olds like this makes for an excellent top-down cruiser. The sea of blue inside looks great against the white exterior. We love the harmonized multiple hues with the two-tone doors, deep blue carpet, smooth blue dash, and distinct blue bench seats with cloth inserts. It looks vintage and inviting. You even get nice details like the working dash courtesy light, and the AM radio is still cranking out tunes. It's the kind of drop-top that can comfortably take everyone for a drive, but you will always be the priority. The tilt/telescopic steering column, dual-spoke steering wheel, and round gauge cluster all are part of the factory package built for the driver.

Oldsmobile people know that the Olds 350 cubic-inch motor is something very special. They manufactured their own V8 engines during this era. Olds had a different construction than the more famous Chevy, and they have a terrific reputation for robustness. So it's great to see a Rocket 350 V8 still in place. This has a four-barrel carburetor to let it inhale deeply and make some nice torque. But this one moves more like a dignified Oldsmobile than a rowdy muscle car. So the power steering, power brakes, and modern touring tires let this be an easy all-around driver.
