REAL VC HARDTOP, 283 V8, POWER BRAKES, FRONT DISC, BEAUTIFU PAINT & INTERIOR!

This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Hard Top has a true classic style with just the right well-placed upgrades. It makes for a true vintage icon that also likes to be a better cruiser, too.

We all love to see a classic '55 Chevy that has been treated with the right kind of care so that the body still looks this clean and correct all these decades later. And this one just seems to know how to impress. The graphite paint has a similar tone to 1955's Shadow Gray, but now it takes advantage of advances in metallic elements and a clearcoat finish. The result is an iconic Bel Air that really loves to radiate in the sunshine. And because the paint loves to shine, they also made sure the brightwork was just as brilliant, too. The iconic grille, jet-age hood ornament, wraparound bumpers, intricate side trim, and classic wheel covers all look terrific. And we especially love how Chevy's trim shows off the pillarless hardtop profile of this coupe.

The interior is done with a beige that goes quite well with the gray. The two wide rows of bench seats have a classic look, but now they have the advantage of a comfy velour and seatbelts. This is nicely detailed with all the vintage pieces you love, like ... Please ask for the full description.

This is nicely detailed with all the vintage pieces you love, like the artful steering wheel, smooth double-hump dash, and plenty of bright trim. Even the cabin lights work. Any time you don't have the windows down to show off the hardtop profile, the tinted glass keeps the feel a bit more comfortable. And no matter how you choose to enjoy this Chevy, the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner and modern speakers mean upgraded driving music.

The VIN tag tells us this was born a proper VC-code coupe. That's important because the '55 Bel Air launched Chevy's now-iconic small block motor. This one really likes to show its history with a correct style that includes a bold orange block, matching Chevrolet script valve covers, and tall black air grabber. This is a 283 cubic-inch V8, which was the largest of the Tri-Five era. Plus, you'll notice a few of the right kinds of upgrades, like the Painless wiring, MSD coil, and an alternator. It's so that this one strikes the right kind of balance between the classic look you love and the right kind of features to keep this motoring with confidence. The V8 fires up nicely, and the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission has a great vintage feel. So it feels great going down the road. And any time you stop, you'll immediately feel the advantage of the power brakes upgrade that includes front discs with drilled & slotted rotors.

Complete with service manuals, this a true classic that also knows how to integrate the right modern features. Call today!!!
