WELL KEPT OLDER RESTORATION, COOL PRE-WAR DODGE, 217 INLINE 6, MOSTLY ORIGINAL

We always like to mention how fewer Dodges there are out there compared to the other Big Three. And in the case of the pre-WWII cars, it's especially true. So, a sedan like this 1934 Dodge DR Sedan is a true find when it's this well presented and this affordable.

This is a dignified car. The Empire Maroon paint is not some modern electric shine. Instead, it comes from an older application that has a classic lacquer luster and the kind of aged-in maturity that will make many gawkers just assume it's original. So while we know it's the product of an older restoration, the first impression it makes is that you plucked it out of a grand estate sale. It just seems to have a respected style with the way the panels align and give the look of decades of care. The bumpers, lights, grille, hood ornament, rear spare carrier, and all the other details really show a complete classic. And the way the yellow pinstripe matches the accenting of the wheels is the right touch of class.

The dual set of suicide doors gives this another great feature for true classic distinction. And once inside, you see more of that vintage feeling with the plush button-top seats in both rows. The large three-spoke ... Please ask for the full description.

The large three-spoke steering wheel, long shifter, and working horn are all part of a package that gets you ready to amble on down the road. The overall feeling is so honest that the air is even controlled by the windshield crank that's reachable from the driver's seat.

When you look under the hood, you get more of the originality that gives this sedan its charm. The 217 cubic-inch flathead inline six is a design that would power Mopar vehicles for years with incredible reliability. So it's nice to have one that still fires up so eagerly. The engine bay looks very period-correct, with just the right upgrades to keep this one running right. The silver head, single-barrel carburetor, and oil bath air cleaner are all reminders of how your grandparents used to travel. And the three-speed manual transmission has a very mechanical action that puts you in full control while still delivering a very vintage feeling.

There's something special about a car like this. You'll love it for everything from parades to Sunday drives. So when it's this affordable, you know you need to act fast if you want it to be yours. Call today!!!
