TIME CAPSULE, 235 BLUE FLAME 6, POWERGLIDE, SAME OWNER 40 YEARS, VERY ORIGINAL

The 1957 Chevrolet is an icon all on its own. But while others out there go for the outrageous, this one is about showcasing a high degree of originality with only the right subtle upgrades for proper maintenance. So if you love your icons to have a time capsule-like quality, dig into the details on this one.

How do you get a car that looks this good? Well, it starts coming off of long-term, garage-kept ownership (40 years.) The mileage is even believed to be accurate. If true, that means this averaged less than 800 miles annually! The sheetmetal also reaffirms this has had a low mileage and well-maintained life. That's why it's straight enough to keep the iconic trim looking like an unbroken line down the side. And all of the rest of the important chrome that makes these '57s so special is complete – from the legendary grille to the factory wheel covers. You even get a classic set of whitewalls! While this looks like a great survivor, there have been a few worthwhile upgrades. The original Onyx Black paint was given a respray later in life. It gives this a fine gloss, but there are enough imperfections to make people believe it's the original application (and we won't tell the ... Please ask for the full description.

It gives this a fine gloss, but there are enough imperfections to make people believe it's the original application (and we won't tell the secret.) Plus, this 210 model has been upgraded to the Bel Air's fan-style tailfin trim, because after all, everyone loves this look.

Inside, the factory-correct ivory and charcoal presentation is exactly what the 1950s were all about. We are hard-pressed to find anything that looks replaced as the two-tone dances across the seats, door panels, and even the dash. Plus, the artful presentation of the steering wheel, gauges, and trim will have people marveling how well this one has survived.

Under the hood you'll find what's believed to be the original motor. It has such an honest presentation and the long list of surviving supporting components means everyone recognizes it as the factory powerplant without you ever saying a word. The 235 cubic-inch motor is smooth and torquey, and it was a mainstay of Chevrolet vehicles for decades. The 210 was the mid-line for Chevy in '57 but this one does have the premium feature Powerglide automatic transmission to make sure you can show off this unique icon with ease.

This Chevy 210 is a rare treat that's has been looked after correctly for decades. If you're a true collector that's ready to be the next caretaker, call today!
