Why is this 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe the perfect street rod? Its desire goes well beyond the custom appearance that's unique in a sea of Fords. This one delivers enhanced V8 power, a custom A/C interior, and a unique paintjob that gets more and more appreciated as the crowd closes in on this one.
This is the one to drive when you want attention on the custom car scene. Most 1930's hot rods start with a Ford body, and so this '38 Chevy already starts off as an attention-grabber. Of course, a recent investment in the two-tone paint makes people want to come in for a closer look. We really like the combination of Regency Blue and metallic gray. It gives this one a more modern appearance, and that's the underlying theme of this custom. You see it elsewhere in headlight package, sport mirrors, powder coated grille, custom bumper forks. This modern appearance also means there' no need for superfluous chrome. And so that really focuses you attention on the details like the classic Chevrolet badge and the iconic Cragar SS wheels.
With so much custom work on the exterior, it's no surprise there was plenty invested in the interior, too. The leather bucket seats up front are from a ... Please ask for the full description.

The leather bucket seats up front are from a late-model Cadillac, which allows you to experience eight decades of progress in comfort. They even power adjust to your perfect driving position. The rear seats match this tan, and the headliner and dash utilize the exterior blue. The full effect is a uniform built that feels quite thoughtful. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth and ice-cold R134a air conditioning for everyone's comfort and entertainment. Still, there's no doubt this custom was built for the driver. It starts with a cool wood and chrome steering wheel steering wheel and a tall Lokar shifter. The gauges are a nice mix of classic Dolphin units right in front of you and a large AutoMeter tach in the center. All of these readouts are a clue to something special in the engine bay.
That small block looks great under the hood with all the polished elements like the air topper, valve covers, and alternator, right? Absolutely. That's why it's always on display for the world to see. But don't let all that flash get in the way of enjoying the substance within. It's a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 that has been fortified with a Comp Cams 12-242-2 Xtreme Energy kit, three-angle valve job, ported & polished heads, and ARP bolts. There's plenty more to this build, so call for all the details. It inhales deeply with a large Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock hi-rise intake. And the motor exhales with serious authority out of powder coated headers that feed the H-pipe dual exhaust. More than just a pure power package, this Chevy has great manners on the road thanks to the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, Mustang II-style independent front suspension, and front disc brakes.
A sleek appearance, luxury interior, and serious V8 power... this '38 Chevy has it all. It's turn-key ready to turn heads, so if you want to get noticed tomorrow, you need to call today!
