You can call this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS pro touring or a resto mod...Labels don't matter when you play at this premium level of huge V8 power, modern upgrades, and the slickest all black body you're ever going to see.
We probably should call this paint black chrome. Its supremacy comes from a serious investment in a professional hand applying the midnight color over some of the crispest sheetmetal you'll ever find. Then they added enough clearcoat to make it look like this muscle car was forged from onyx. But it's not just how the paint looks...you can tell the quality just simply how it feels just as butter-smooth as it appears. With this much blacked-out aggressiveness, the front air dam, ducktail rear spoiler, and Rally Sport's hidden headlight panel are the perfect dark complements. But a Camaro cannot live on black paint alone, and so the trim is exceptionally bright, and the bumper have even been re-chromed to keep up with the shine of the paint. This black and chrome theme has the perfect unifying touch on the iconic American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.

Inside, one of the first things you'll notice is that the houndstooth bucket seats. They are a hallmark of first generation Camaros, but you instantly recognize these are really modern performance seats customized with cloth and leather to look like the vintage ones. So you get the modern bolstering to give you better comfort and stay planted when the throttle gets pegged. Plus, there's a nice center console with welcomed cup holders in between. When your arm is not resting on the padded console, it will instantly be attracted to the Lokar shifter. Just ahead of that is an AM/FM stereo that retains the original cool knob-style arrangement, and the factory hear/defrost sliders that actually control the modern R-134a air conditioning. Are you starting to get the picture on this one? The interior adds custom touches but respects the Camaro's heritage very cool ways. You see it again moment you slip behind the modern three-spoke steering wheel with the classic Camaro logo on the horn button. This car retains this the first-year Camaro's dual pod gauge design, but the dials have been replaced with Classic Instrument Velocity readouts so you get a full picture on what's going on with the rumbling motor under the hood.
The engine bay continues this coupe's very clean black and chrome theme. It's a show-worthy shine that even has the master cylinder as part of the brightwork. But now there's also a dash of red because this monster motor is out for blood. That is a Ram Jet 350 cubic-inch crate engine. Right out of the box, these fuel-injected V8s are known for making over 350 horsepower. Of course the long tube headers that connect to the new Magnaflow dual exhaust with X-pipe will certainly add to that power tally and also announce its superiority to the world. But it's more than just brute force that makes this coupe great. Take a look at the undercarriage shots. You'll notice the A-arm front independent suspension is a true performance upgrade over the original '60s tech. The rear has also been upgraded, including the addition of a sway bar. Backing up this suspension package is four-wheel disc brakes and the glue-like grip of Nexen ZR rated tires. While all of these features are great for performance, this is also a comfortable cruiser, too, thanks to features like power steering and a four-speed overdrive automatic transmission.
This is the prestige of a first-year Camaro in a street-eating package that has the kind of comfort and control to leave you wanting for nothing. It's a thorough custom build, and we have the full binder of its creation to prove it. Here's a vintage muscle car that does everything, including leave our showroom quickly, so you better call today!
