By virtue of its trek to Las Vegas, this Shelby's fuel-injected 4.6-liter V8 is more potent than its stock counterpart - it received both a Ford Racing boxed cold air intake and a more aggressive tuning than it left the factory with - but it still runs great on premium pump gas. Sitting just behind the engine is a 5-speed Tremec TR-3650 that provides nice, precise gear changes via an upgraded Hurst short throw shifter. As you run through the gears, you won't be able to help but notice the distinct exhaust note that comes via the rumbling mufflers. Raise the hood and you'll see the strut tower brace that runs across the engine compartment to improve body rigidity. It's paired with sway bars in both front and back to provide outstanding handling. This special edition Mustang rolls on a set of premium 18" wheels that are outfitted with BF Goodrich G-Force T/A all-season tires.
